I have one at 3:00 today.. and I hear they hurt alot from some people, and others say they only hurt sometimes?

Anyone have experiences they'd like to share?? haha

nah, my friend had one a couple months ago, and he came to school like 2 days later, his tooth was like purple for a couple weeks but not to bad

dude, my front left tooth is fake (except for the root) because i broke it off when i was younger. That's the tooth I'm getting the root canal done on. Crazy.

 
yeah, both my front teeth are fake... one of em is a pete olenick style flipper. the root canal was no big deal... but when they were plastering up what was left of my other tooth... the novocaine started to wear off when they had like 5 minutes of drilling/polishing left... but my head already hurt so i didnt want to get a needle in my gums again cause that sucks huge ass... so then my head was pretty much painfully vibrating for like 2 hours.

Oh boy, my two front teeth are fake because they've been serevely chipped. My dentist predicted in 10 years I will need a root canal...shit

Update on the root canal.

It went perfect.. 100%

It didn't even hurt, well, the only thing taht hurt was the needle they used for the freezing. Other than that it was good.

it will hurt like a bitch for a week or so, my uncle is a dentist and he did mine and its fine now, you cant even tell that my front tooth is dead, don't do anything requiring lots of thinking or physically straining for a few days.

I have had dental surgery 3 times, Endodonic surgery (root canal from the other end of the root), and a root canal. The root canal was painless, I didn't even feel it.

Argh this is so gay!

I had to go in this morning to get another root canal.. on the same tooth. Its so infected that like half my face is swollen. fuck fuck fuck

^that sucks about it being infected, but i dont think i have had a root canal, i had surgery where the doctor had to take out my roots for my two front teeth, so now i dont have them anymore.

I have healthy teeth, never had a cavity or anything done to my teeth except braces cuz I had a few crooked teeth. My mom's a nut for perfect teeth, it pisses me off.

root canals arnt bad, i just hate novicane, i have had a root canal in like everyone of my front teeth they feel kinda funny but it has never hurt me too bad

just have them put you down via IV. Thats what they did when they pulled one of my molars that was fused to my jaw bone. I was sitting in the chair and I saw the doctor inject something into the IV, then I woke up like 2 hours later at home on my couch. it was awsome. and it didn't even hurt afterwards either. the whole right side of my face was numb so I jabbed it with a fork all day and when the feeling came back into my face, it started hurting where I was poking.

the fuckin worst is gettin teeth pulled

i had a bunch of fracters and it took like 15 minutes with the guy just twisting my tooth back and forth, and it would just brake off in small pieces
