2nd day of sitting in bed worthless, cant walk 102 fever and my vision straight up throbs. The worst. Who else is swined up? Vermont hasnt got the vaccine yet, waiting until December 17th or something.....great
 
yeahh, it sucks man, i had it a couple months ago, its such a bitch, was reaaally cold and everyone was complaining about how hot it was. sketchy stuff
 
not sure if it was the swine but ive missed the past 8 days of school because of being super sick. It was the worst. Finally feeling a little better
 
swine is pretty much the same as normal flu, and its the only flu going around at the moment. So you have swine flu.
 
One kid died from it here, two people in my hall got carried out to an ambulance they were so messed up for it, and about 50% of people in the dorm have/had it already. I haven't yet.........yet..
 
I had swine flu, my symptoms started getting better, and then I got pneumonia which brought back the symptoms of swine flu even worse. So now I'm currently sitting in my house miserable with swine flu AND pneumonia. FML
 
I had some really weird couples days that i've never experienced before, but i think it was just normal flu, or a milder swine. Really messed me up for a couple days though.
 
My roommate thinks she has it, but she would be the first case in this town if that were the case. I blame hysteria.
Sucks that all you guys have it.
I'm saving up my money now so that I can afford a week of no work should I get any sort of flu.
At least you have NS to keep you company.
 
I'm sick, but either I have an amazing immune system or I just have a cold cause I'm not doing too bad.
 
i had the flu for a week. but then i got drunk as shit and it went away.

alcohol works wonders.

ethanol is an antiseptic so i guess it makes sense. in a weird fuckin way though.
 
I had all the symptoms for a day and a half...it felt like someone had put a hammer to my head for a while. But I refused to get sick. So i drank lots of OJ, went to the gym, said I was fine and it was just a sore throat/lack of sleep and slept it off.

Stuffed nose, cough headache.

Cant afford to miss school so here i am in a accounting coughing my ass off pissing off everone.
 
the vaccine isn't going to do shit for him now, once he has had it he isn't going to get it again. A vaccine is a preventative shot used to boost your immunity against the virus.
 
to all of you who had it, what was your very first symptom??

i went to walmart yesterday for the first time in a while and within 5 minutes started feeling sick while shopping. my throat was kinda sore/swollen and my head felt a little congested. i drank tons of juice and water and rested all day yesterday and feel a lot better now but hopefully i stopped it a little.
 
Fuck man! i am living in Norway right now going to a Folkegskole and there is a handful of students here that have it, i am starting to feel like i am getting it, but it has been about 2 or 3 days and i am not getting any worse, which i hope is a good thing.

I hate people that wine about it when what they have isn't that bad.
My roommate swears she is getting swine flu and last night was all... I have no voice anymore.. 2 hours later I hear her screaming at her x boyfriend over the phone.
I can't stand it when people make it to be way worse than it is.
My throats been a little soar the last few days, but in no way am I sick. So annoying.
 
I just had that feeling you have when you know you're getting sick... and my nose started to run a bit, little headache... Next morning--- WHAM I've got it
All you can do is get your good diet and wash your hands
 
i had swine 3 weeks ago. the highest i saw my temp. at was 105. i was halucinating like a mother fucker. my tv looked like it was floating and everything felt really small
 
I had it two weeks ago. Since my brother, a leukemia victim who's almost done with chemotherapy maintenance (2 months left), was home they had me take Tamiflu. It decreases the symptoms of a flu and now I heard thats what they're prescribing to patients now. Ask your doc for some, it helps a lot.
 
lol did you really just call that fucked up? Take an advil and carry around a box of tissues and you're fine...
 
right now my head feels a little congested and basically everything from my neck and up aches. i'm not too pumped right now
