anyone gonna be there? I kinda got hooked up with a trip to steamboat during that time(Ill start skiing the 14th I think). holla at me. I got either 06/07 invaders or the blue vct's(first generation) khaki pants, white jacket...(just cheap tj max outerwear). I might be in the park a bit if there isn't much snow.

I heard slopeside was good for bars...what are some others...prefferably cheap cause i have hardly any money.
 
couple things...

whats the park set up right now? When are they gonna open bashor? and what rails do they have set up right now?
 
i don't know if they've blown a lot of snow in bashor yet. i'll ask one of my snowmaking buddies when they think they will open. right now we have a mini park with 10 boxes and 1 jump. you can lap it pretty easy if you get off at christy mid station. i'll ask around about bashor though
 
To tell you the truth I can't remember exact dates, but Bashor usually isn't open until around Christmas.

Mini park with rails are fun but nothing I'd lap more than an hour or two.

Have you been to Steamboat before? IF so then its going to look way different than before. Ski times square is no more. As far as mountain bars go there is slopeside, tugboat, I think la montonia is open, chaps, gpg's, bear, and I think thats it... I think tugboat still has dollar drafts until 6, panda has a killer happy hour I think 4-7, but is sort of a hole in the wall.
 
Yeah. I went to steamboat 2 years ago around the same time. Bashor was open then, but it wasn't all of it, just one line around the top. It'd be nice to have some bigger jumps, but I guess Ill jsut have to wait for those until i get back to north carolina. thanks for the info.
 
i would hope for snow, seeing as park is not really something you come to steamboat for.. currently there is 1 decent flat box, an up-flat-down, and this bonky thing at the bottom. they just started blowing snow in bashor like today, so that wont be open. like i said, hope for snow. hit me up when you get into town.
