i was just thinking about triples! and who will be the first to do it in the pipe.

i was thinking torin or david. what do you guys think?

Someone's going to fucking die trying that. We're nearing a dangerous area as a sport.

NOT Joffrey Pollet-Villard. Dude has so much style he shows the world that doubles are not important. You need style and big air.

they're probably all testing the waters to get one for the olympics since it would probably mean a medal. but I doubt anyone will have one consistent enough in time. someone will injure themselves bad. and the first I think will be Riddle.

if he turned his mute 9 into a double, which he definitely could and would keep the style of the run, he'd win

Kenworthy? He's already got 'em in big air, so why not pipe? I know he's not the best at it, but if he tried, he could probably get them the fastest out of anyone.

You guys have obviously forgotten of the Asian Apocalypse of Sochi: the asian countries will come out with athletes who were flipping in the womb and have spent half their life inverted, slap skis on them and have them potentially sacrifice sanity and limb to bring back a medal. So first triple? I'd say 疯狂的笨蛋

I'd laugh if Joffrey Pollet-Villard just skipped the double and threw a triple in comp out of no where.....

whole world would just be like 0.- the fuck did my peepers just peep

there comes a point where pulling off a new trick is not worth the risk of a being a vegetable or worse.

sad to say but good chance we'll see someone die trying before seeing someone pull it off. How bout a style fest instead of a huck fest

Wow, over dramatic much? There's definitely not a "good chance" of someone dying before landing it. Plenty of tricks that pro skiers are doing these days could result in serious injury. I like how dozens of triples have been done over the past couple years, without any serious injury, but when it comes to a pipe triple, there's a "good chance" that someone will die before the trick is landed.

ok good chance may be overreacting a litttle but look at the trend and how many people starting getting hurt when the pipes became 20ft and doubles were the new thing. Making the pipes bigger and having people trying triples will only increase the number of people getting hurt. But progression right...someone will always push it

I personally see a big difference in trying a trip on a park jump and trying it in the pipe with rock hard corners to catch
