I used to order seeds back in the day when I lived in Minnesota. Back then, you had to import them from the UK mostly, there were Canadian seedbanks but they wouldn't ship to the U,S, (or so they said).
Now a days it is probably a lot easier with seedbanks here in the U.S. I tried out one in Colorado which was pretty much just a dude who came to meet me in a parking lot but had decent selection from the Pacific northwest (Rocky Mountain Seedbank I believe), and there's another in like Lafayette but haven't gone. Never got any plants grown outside this year, still have weed coming out my ears from last year's indoor crop and outdoor crop. Plus not many people here smoke grass anymore, it's all dabs.
