Who's actually ridden this year's skis

Freeskier buyer's guide is up but I can never trust the editor's picks because every year they mix in some obviously great skis with a bunch of skis that noone would ever buy. I'm trying to buy new skis this year, anybody on here privileged enough to have tried any of em at the end of last winter or this summer?

I live on the east coast so mostly park but I'm definitely interested in some fatter skis, like Kung Fujas or something. Basically something fun that will still slay on bigger jumps.

Ehh. I'd stick with park skis, but if you're planning on going for non-park, get some All Mtn's. Kung Fujas's are meant for real backcountry shit which is not East Coast.

the line Cryptonite sounds like it would be a good ski for you its 92 under foot stable on big jumps and is good all over the mountain the iclantic Pilgrim would also be a good ski its 90 under foot and is little stiffer of a ski

I've demoed the K2 Domains (unfortunately I wasn't able to demo the Kung Fujas...they was always out, I assume that's a good thing), Salomon 2012 and Suspects.

The Domains are AWESOME, instantly fell in love with them, so much fun and amazingly fun on rails and cruising around.

The Suspects are fun, but ironically I wasn't allowed to hit rails with them...hmm

The 2012s we meh, they weren't bad, but they also weren't amazing, I also wasn't allowed to hit rails with them...

I've skied a few - being down in NZ we get a bunch of 'next years' skis early.
Here's what I've been on, or one of my mates on the demo day, if you want more details of any of them let me know and I'll do a mini-review-type-thing.
K2:Hellbent - heavy, bulldozer, huge fun in pow (duh?)Kung Fujas - poppy, floppy, fun all-rounderObsethed (friend skied it) - way floppier than before, amazing in chopNo Domain - demo guy reckoned not enough people were interested in them.
Nordica:Ace of Spades Ti Pro blah blah - fantastic ski, price tag is a killer though
Volkl:Mantra - wtf, didn't work for me, like a steel beam. Probably cos I ski like a pussy.Grizzly (don't ask) - Wow, I can turn. Cool ski, not my cup of tea thoughBridge (friend skied it) - Reckoned they've kinda ruined it, way more like a Kung Fujas now, not a stiff park/all mountain twin.Gotama (friend skied it, then bought them) - Sick, but he's an ex-racer. Give back what you put in, not for laid-back skiers.

anyone tried the AR7s ? im realy intressted in them from what ive seen of them.... but never gotten the oppertunity to try them
