Who will win the X-games this year?

slope: tough call. i could see wallisch coming back though

pipe: 1st Roland, 2nd Yater-wallace. could see yater taking it though, hes been on fire lately

slope is literally anyone's game. There are probably 7-8 guys that could win. I'd say the usual suspects: Bob, Andreas, Tom, Russ, Jossi, Sammy for sure are top tier guys, but damn.....then you have Joss, Gus, McRae, Elias, Henrik, Alexis, Schlopy and a few more could easily podium and/or win.

pipe?

I'd say Rolland is clearly the guy to beat. His consistency and tech is pretty much on another level. Simon could win, Torin, Dorey......who knows.

If I'm forced to guess, here's my podiums:

slope:

Tom

Bob

Andreas/Jossi

pipe:

Dumont

Rolland

Tai

If Dorey can put down a clean run, he probably has it, he's got tricks that no one else has (his dub flat 7 is crazy).

Jossi is another sleeper on this one, he's finally (relatively) healthy, and has the style on tricks to get it done.

No question about big air?

What I hope:

Slope: McRae, that'd be sick

Pipe: Torin

As for big air, that's gonna be hard. I hope something new goes down though.

pipe= rolan, although i would really like to see david wise nail those back to back dub 16's and win cause i used to ski with him

slope= not really sure yet, but i really dont see tom making a comeback

I wonder why henrik even bothers entering big air, he must know that the judges want dubs, but evn though he has them, he throws bios and other shit. I understand how hes "doing his own thing" kinda, but its almost like he doesnt want to win.

No point in guessing

with that said, I think Dorey could take pipe. Rolland is a savage, though.

Slope: Roll some dice. Wallisch or Houle.

Pipe, rooting for big clean stylish tricks. Rolland' first two and fifth hit were rad, and he's got some down the pipe dub flat 9 thing I hear, though I prefer to see a banger run from someone like Wise, Riddle, or Torin and take down Kevin. So rad that Duncan keeps making podiums. Hope he makes a few more. Gus, Bobby and Wallich are my tops for slope gold followed by Schlop, Russ, hatveit, Sammy, Henrick, new kids, and I'm calling Cassabon sticks a dub and is therefor a dark horse. Big air is gonna be sick too. It all depends on the jump.

making a comeback from what?...He has a year plagued with injuries and a less than stellar comp season and everyone wants to say Wallisch is finished. You're high. If you don't think Wallisch has a solid chance to take gold in slope...well I don't know. His execution of tricks and landings are basically unmatched.
