Who will admit to being a bad skier?

thats basically me, i can't do a lot of technical tricks but i like to try and mix it up with different grabs and shiftys or just trying to force style onto bad tricks, but i have tall outerwear so it makes it easier when people see you and assume you are good at skiing because you have phil casabons jacket

i wouldn't say i'm bad, because my freeride ability is pretty decent. however, in park, i have a sold 3 and and can sometimes do switchups, but that's about it

I hate to burst your bubble, but if you can do a 5, you're not really that good on an english scale. England has sick skiers, i was amazed the first times i went to dryslopes and snowdomes. And yes i will admit i suck at skiing, but man the feeling it gives, nothing beats it!

im out there fun and im alright. but its not skill but joy from skiing. from 1to 10 for park probs 6 and for pow, downhill a 9

Yes england does have good skiers, but how many? Out of 60 million people? Im talking scale im not an idiot, you couldnt burst my bubble with a big stick I know my ability im not claiming to be something im not

I love skiing and all its aspects...not fantastic in the park by any means. 3s, 5s? Rails...but there's nothing that gives the same feeling as just doing a big 'ol spread over a 60' booter

I'll admit that most of the kids on here would kill me in the park, but I'd slay you everywhere else on the mountain

im not so good on jumps, i can't grab anything. i feel so retarded going up and doing a sw 5 or 7 and having to grab i feel like im doing arials

ive only really just started park so im not great at that but i am pretty good on steeps and drops and stuff.

i dont think thats cocky....im the same way i just started park this year and a little last year cant do very much....but i think im pretty good big mountain cuz thats what i grew up doing

Ha that's me! Love the sport and fairly decent when it comes to just skiing around but tricks and all I'm just starting to try really

I'm not the best skier but I am very confident and I know I can ski pretty much anything I attempt to ski. I don't really ski park anymore though, and I don't think not being able to pretzel 4 a rail makes me a bad skier either.

i fractured my arm on a 360....im out there to ride and have fun, its not like im going pro or anything so might as well get the most fun out of it as you can and not worry about how good you are

i suck at park. i calculated that i've skied park for 4 days in my ski career which has consisted of 16 years skiing.

i'm really really really good at everything else though, like mind blowing how beautiful a skier i am

i'm pretty good at powder/all mountain, but I'm below average at park. I think once I can finally hit rails confidently I can start getting better.

Im a pretty bad skier in general aha. I can ride park better than I can ski normally :S

I have skied 10 times in my life though. I can 3 and 5 with no grabs. Still learning :)

yeah i straight up suck at park. I cant do much of anything but outside of park I like to consider myself a pretty good skier

I'm not bad at rails and occasionally show glimpses of steeze in the park but thats rare. If I think too much I suck at everything, but I think thats how it goes when your skiing park.

Easy now. Considering how small of a sport freestyle skiing is in england, i would say you have quite a lot of really good skiers. If you wanna talk scale, there's 360 million people in the US, i'm sure their bad/good freestyle skier ratio isn't much better than Englands. You claimed that you were, and i quote, "very good" on an english scale. I'm just pointing out, that in my experience, you're not. I mean, i can do a 5, and i'm decent on rails, at least on a danish scale. But when i moved to England i was pretty much schooled from the first day on the slopes. Just sayin.

im a badass skiier on the slopes but i sure blow in the park.

no tricks in the bag other than a straight air and my goal this season is to learn to ski backwards well and do a 3 :( height and big jumps dont freak me out at all if im hitting it straight

diss away

Thats straight man skiing is all about fun. If your having fun thats reason to go back. Don't we all wish we could throw whatever or pretzel any rail, and some people can. It doesnt mean shit if your not enjoying yourself. If its tricks that you want to learn and get better at, take your time and enjoy the fight.

im horrible at park, but i can tail tap shit like crazy but i am a fantastic skier out of the park.

im not that good at park better at big mountaini can backflip 3 basically 5 but super sketch really about anyhandrail and acouple of kinks not too good at jibs

im not that bad i can do backflips and frontflips and spin good 5s and sometimes 7. Im ok on rails. i havent really been trying this year just kinda having fun this year.

Alot of the people on here who say they arnt that good really are, the biggest trick i have ever seen at my mountain was a cork 7 on skis. I'm not to good but i wouldnt say i suck best tricks are 5's and im dece on rails. Only been really skiing park for a season and and a half i.e just learned to boardslide this year.

Exactly, it's all relative. I can 9 easily and I've got multiple rail combo's but I consider myself an aweful skier compared to the other kids at my mountain...

I don't really care though. Like I said before, I just love skiing, how good I am doesn't matter.

im not that sick at park, i can do most of the basic shit (2s off, b/s swap, learnin k-fed, 3, 5, 7 and sw 3 learning sw 5) but im much better at rails than jumps. i raced gs and slalom up until i was 17 so im pretty good at slayin trees when i get on my bent chetsss

haha love skiing but im alright at park, better at rails and jibbing them i am at jumps though, can do a 5 and sw5 but thats it. definitely a better big mountain skier.

i have a bigger bag of tricks then most but i cant do many grabs or make them all look good, so i need to work on dat, dont really care that much though its just fun to do them

I Will! i have meh skiing ability. i mean, i can carve and shit and i know how to handle myself but it's no perfectionist skis side by side way of going about it. as for park, i'm tall and lanky and like to rep hesh. apart from looking like slenderman i guess..... naw i just look like slenderman. gapin on everything.

same bro. the only thing i got going for me is a mute grab. i lost the blunt grab last season but its so fun to spin and throw yourself of nice booters
