Who acttually reads on this site. by reading i mean getting a novel of a specific genre(lets not hope you read fantasy) and reading it

not half way and then watch a movie, but read the whole thing

then read the sequels, trilogies or series

Im on the 4th book in the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy trilogy and i read the first one without seeeing the movie

if you dont read, shame on you

if you do read lots

get a life

i read, i've read all of dan brown's stuff (the davinci code, angels and demons, digital fortress, and deception point) and i loved them all, check them out if you like books that keep you guessing and are exciting.

also not ashamed to say i read all the harry potters and loved them.

bring on the hate but w/e

i like to read, only shit that interests me, dan brown is good, baseball stuff, im reading black hawk down right now, its amazing, so much better than the movie

I read as much as I can. Dan Brown books are good, Chuck Palahnuik books are amazing, and I like reading the Harry Bosch series by Michael Connelly. Oh and the Cannabibles by Jason King are a must own, volumes 1,2&3.

i used to read so much...

sometimes if im really bored and cant find anything to do i'll pick up an old book and read it for a few days till i finish it

im reading fear and loathing in las vegas right now haha

haha unless you've read hitchhikers guide you don't know whats up.

watch out the last two books suck

i used to read constantly in elementary school. we got an hour a day. i read the 4 first harry potter and like 20 some books in the redwall series. i don't have time to read but i still do. i've read every john grisham book ever written. i read alot during summer.

the answer to the meaning of life.....42!

I'm a huge Greek Dramady geek. I read Lysistrata and The Bacchae over and over again. In my opinion, The Bacchae is the best piece of literature ever written. In the genre, most people prefer Lysistrata because its all sexual innuendos but The Bacchae is by far the greatest.

"Yes, I am old, but I mean to go dancing. Put vine leaves in my hair, I am not afraid."

Adise from that, The Stranger by Albert Camus is the first book to ever really make me "think." If you haven't really read it, DO IT.

Flannery O'Connors and Tennessee Williams keep me really on my toes, too.

In more normal literature, for some reason I love the Dogtown books. Kind of gangster thrillers.

Anything on the NY Times bestseller list I read.

Also, any Lauren Weisberger books (Devil Wears Prada, Everyone Worth Knowing) and most horrible brit chick lit are my version of crack. Nothing to them but excellent none-the-less. And, of course, romance novels.

I like to read, but im rather slow..

I tend to do the stupid thing and pick a book by the cover, but almost every book iv read I like.

i wish i had time to read more. i just finished atlas shrugged but it was the only book i read all summer besides harry potter.

I used to read quite a bit but I haven't found a lot of good books. Although I did read an awsome book a while ago called Fate is the Hunter.

jeaaaaaaaaaaaaa

all of the his dark materials trilogy was sweet (the golden compass, the subtle knife, the amber spyglass), i read them when i was younger but just finished re-reading them, such an awesome story

i read about 10 books this summer...i also somewhat learned to speed read while doing it so i could read a book in an afternoon if i just sat down with a good one. everything written by dan brown is amazing. harlan coben is another one of my favorite writers. i read a few nonfiction history books too, but those were mostly boring.

I used to read so much when I was little, now I find myself having less time to but I still do when I get the chance. I've got a bookshelf filled with books I've read over the years. If you get the chance go see the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy movie, I liked it a lot but I don't know how it compares to the books.

its a bit off when you watch the movie

parts are made up or missing.

the third one is the best.

im halfway through the 5th(havent had much time to read with school and work again) and its good

and for 5 in a trilogy, i the douglas adams had it planned out for being a trilogy then wrote "so long and thanks for all the fish" he put a "the fourth novel in the increasingly inaccurate trilogy and same with mostly harmless

cool, maybe I'll pick up some of the books one of these days when I get the chance. the movies never seem to do the book justice, they're always missing something.

I read alot, lots of different stuff. I love sci-fi stuff, I'm kind of a geek- I used to read alot of Star Wars books. Lately I've been reading a bunch of punk/anarchist related stuff-Salad Days, Evasion, and 1984 are easily my most favorite books of all time.

200 pages of what? if it is just a novel it shouldn't be too hard, if you just sit down and do it

sometimes i read butter labels

then i use the butter for cooking

which i read a cookbook to cook

then when im eating what i cooked i read the newspaper

which usually says stuff about cooking

which i read a cookbook to cook

and then im done

and take a shit

the Hitchhikers' Guide series is hilarious. The problem with making a movie was that most of the humor is in how the books are written, not what the plot is.
