Who wears helmets

I was just wondering who here wears a helmet everytime they ski and why, or whynot.

I myself am a big advocate of wearing helmets and wear one everyday on the hill. Any opinions?

I do cause I like to remember stuff. Plus you have to for the higher level park at blackcomb

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day

It's good to hear so many people wear them. As I mentioned, I'm a big fan of helmets, saved my ass plenty of time

Have you noticed how a majority of pros never wear helmets outside of contests? I wonder how much this influences the younger riders out there. I also wonder if sponsors push them to not to wear helmets during photo and video shoots to up thier image.

Do most pros have helmet sponsorships?

Interesting huh?

I do, it protects and gives me more confidence coz I know I won't die if I hit me head on a rail for example.

2 weeks ago I went to Outdoor school Camp with my grade. My teacher was in a Field talking to his Girlfriend at 11:30 pm, my friend and I were suspicious so we flashed a flaslight in the eyes of my teacher and they were closed. We Burst out laughing I said 'His having phone sex'. So the Next Day I went around and told EVERYONE in my grade what happened last night. I said to them 'on the count of 3 we'll say MR. GIBSON were you MASTERBATING last night. My teacher we so red, it was fucking Hilarious

Also, why, if you do wear a helmet, do you only use it some days and not others. Don't you have an equal amount of risk everyday on the hill?

You could always get hit by some out-of-control-fat-texan-on-snowlerblades...ha!

Damn, now I'm really into all these helmet questions...

If I'm only riding smooth and not trying anything new I may leave it in my locker, if not I leave it on my head.

I wear it all the time. It makes me think i'm safer and stuff and i'm not that afraid to fall on something. And it protects my head from the chair lift bar. ahhahaha.

i wear one cuz it keeps me safe

----now i lay me down to sleep, blah blah blah my soul to keep, if i die before i wake ill go to hell for heavens sake

I used to ride with one most of the time, but I'd forget sometimes or it'd be too hot or whatever, but this coming season I will definitely wear one all of the time. I'm healing from injuries now, and I don't want another serious one!

If any of you don't own a helmet, YOU SHOULD, that first concusion sucks, you puke everywhere and break your ankle, and don't even get to ski the whole vacation. So turn your life around and buy my helmet, message me. (I am getting a new one, the Large is too small, my heads really big).

I only wore a helmet once. It was the last day of the season. Good thing I had it too. I slammed my head pretty hard getting the biggest air of my life. I think next season I'll wear it a lot. Not all the time but definitely if I'm trying something new.

Coming Soon...

This year I finally got a good comfortable helmet. I wore it about 3 times, and then the thing holding the strap in broke out of the foam, dont know how, and it was broken. If I get a new one, I will wear it when i feel it necesary

i've always worn a helmet, my parents always made me wear one when i was really little, and once i got into moguls and stuff they got all scared so they still wanted me to wear one, and now it just seems necesary, i don;t really feel right without one

Ive always worn a helmut and I always will. But I also havent had the best luck with helmuts. 2 seasons ago I got a concussion with my helmut on, and last season, I face planted in sticky snow and my goggles were blown off my face. The visor on my helmut folded over and gave a inch gash 1/4 of an inch away from my eye. So helmuts have been good and bad for me, but mostly good.

I dunno, i cant do anything without a helmet, and i love the helmet and earflap hat look. 270 onto rails can be pretty deadly for brutal head bashinngs too.
