Was anyone at the Molson Ex Pro challenge half pipe comp at Tremblant last winter...I met a bunch of people and was wondering if anyone here was someone I met there?! Is there going to be on this year again?

I was there that weekend but I'm certain the halfpipe comp was cancelled due to the fact that there was zero visibility at the summit (the second year in a row I went only to have the comp cancelled - not that I was gonna compete or anything). But it was a good weekend overall. Got to meet/drink/smoke with Philou and Vinni. I'm sure it will be on again this year.

 
Tremblant should have 2 half pipes. if it still had the pipe under the flying mile chair the comp could have went off both years. The comp has been cancelled every year since they moved the park. I like the fact that the new park can open earlier in the year and stay open later but many other resorts have 2 parks and if they put the one back under the flying mile they would have a lit park and pipe.

 
well, they got that 2nd pipe at the bottom of Expo....that pipe is so stupid. Almost as dumb as the second pipe at Horseshoe.....like what the hell can you do in a 1ft deep pipe?

Personally I liked the pipe under the flying mile better becuase it was so much closer to the bottom.....and yeah I really hope that this year that comp will actually go on. And yeah Horseshoe is gay for having that little fucking hole in the ground that they call a pipe!

lol, I didn't even think that horseshoe called that a halfpipe. I just assumed the groomers sucked.

 
The comp, if held on the saturday instead of the sunday would have been sick. A ton of good skiers were there, Woods, Belanger, Hibbert etc., the practice on saturday was ridiculously nice. On sunday, you couldn't get an edge into the pipe or see 5 ft. in front of you; it sucked. They need a kicker and a pipe under flying mile. We'll be back this winter for shure.
