Who uses sony vegas HD? and bindings question

i just have a few questions that i would hope someone can help me out with.

- How to slow a clip down?

- How to fade the video and music out?

- Why the video only has audio in certain formats?

sth12 vs Marker Griffon? i have had my markers and i love them but im just wondering how the salomons compare.
 
if you love your markers then stick with them cause they clearly work
a binding is hardly noticed so it doesnt really matter what it is
 
yea that was what i was thinking but my markers are missing brakes and they arent new, so i was just wondering if i should try the salomons cause they are pretty much new and i just wanted some peoples reviews on them.
 
To slow a clip down, right click and do Insert/remove envelope and then press velocity. Move the green bar down to slow it down. And to fade in/out there are blue arrows at the top of each clip. drag them in to fade in/out.
 
I used to edit in sony vegas until I got a mac, but dont think I have used sony vegas HD..Anyway, if its the same I think you can hold ctrl and drag the clip longer for slow-mo or drag shorter for fast-mo and if you click and drag the top right corner of a clip towards the middle it creates a fade. Hope that helps! Havent used vegas in quite a while so it might not be correct!
 
To slow a clip down right click on the clip and press PROPERTIES at the bottom of the drop down menuthen once the properties menu pops up there should be a box listed as PLAYBACK RATE with numbers that are 1.000 that is the speed the video was taken at to slow it down change those numbers to anything lower like 0.500 or 0.750 then drag your clip out and it should be slow mo
and griffons are better in my opinion ive always loved marker very safe bindings
