Who thinks the cakes on Ace Of Cakes taste good??

you know that food network show about that cake making store and they always make those detailed cakes with that fondat shit for frosting... just was wondering if they actually taste good..

that chef duff that runs the shop is a chill peep.
 
They look amazing but I dont know how they wuold taste. I am also curious because I could see them tasting like shit.
 
Damn good show. I think the fondant tastes like a hard icing and is probably pretty good, they still use frosting and make bomb ass cakes and people wouldnt like them if they tasted like shit.
 
The cakes they make, like the actual cake is probably amazing.

But then they usually cover that cake with buttercream frosting, which can also be amazing on practically anything.

Then they cover the buttercream with the fondant, which is paste-like and hard. You only put the fondant on for show and for a seamless finish, so you peel the fondant off when you eat it, kind of like those wheels of cheese covered in that red wax.

 
Yeah their cakes are good they have one professional baker who's only job is to bake the cakes that they decorate plus almost all the people out of their came from the CIA so they must be good
