Hes a orange name and keeps making all of these pointless threads, then gets defensive when kids hate on him..saying stuff like "you kids dont respect the people that paved the way for you" this makes me laugh because I and any of my friends or alot of people on here have never even heard of him. Pee he did a flip transfer, but in no way did he pave the way for us. STOP making dumb threads and trying to get kids to hate, its not funny and it takes up space.
 
He skis and makes music that seems to involve skiing in some way. That's why he has the orange name.

Whether he deserves it or not...
 
actually im 21, and have been a member since 04, and i have never heard of him or seen any of his edits, cept the flip rail transfer. He in no way paved the freeskiing scene for me at least. Hes a washed up has been imo.
 
This might just be one of the most pathetic threads I've seen. McMurray used to slay so hard. NS really is turning into a gathering of 13 year olds.

As you said he used to be really good at skiing. Throwing cliffs with park skis. At this time his stupidity mixed with some gnarly stuff and punk rock fitted well skimovies. He used to be one of my favorite to watch.

But that was like five years ago and it looks like we've all grown up exept him. I don't see the point of all his threads. When will LCP understand they're no thugs or artists but just random wack guys (= RWG) ???

he was (is, i'm sure) an amazing skier. his flips on and off of rails and other shots have been some of my favorite shots when i was younger. he does some unreal stunts. his rapping is not my thing but whatever this is america he can act like an idiot for all i care. he's sort of annoying on the forums. oh well, it's the internet

I didn't know who he was until about a week ago, so I guess I'm a noob too... Since then I did a little research and watched a few video parts of his, and while I definitely respect his skiing, he seems like a fucking douchebag.
 
maybe op was out skiing while all the pro-hos were home jerking of to ski posters and arguing over internet about what you have to know about the pros to be a real skier..
 
yes, maybe he does dumb shit now, whatever. not all pros are intelligent or very respectable characters.

but skiingwise he was the shit. i remember his stuff and to be honest, the last time i watched movies really. nowadays its just about gangsta rap and flashy cuts instead of skiing.

yeah, a lot of you guys have never heard of him, no problem, but some people on here ski longer as you can talk, so please shut up and think about what skiing was back then and what it is now.

now you ask who is, everyone on here calls you a 10 year old noob who doesn't know the history of the sport. Suddenly everyone is an expert and remembers his segments.

a month ago however, probably only about 25% of this site knew who he was, and everyone else was calling him a troll, an ass, etc etc.

so a lot of you are full of shit. you didn't know who he was, and yet you're calling someone else out on it now?

i remember him from back in the day, he was good, but in my eyes wasn't hugely noteworthy like tanner or some of those guys simply because he wasn't in as many films. I'm not a big fan of his music, and think he should get back on his skis if he can, but the fact of the matter is that he was important to the sport
 
not as important as a lot of people, but he did progress the sport. Pretty bad you havent heard of him.

In 10 years there will prob be people who dont know who cusson, poirier, belanger, larose, and other people who are not french canadian.

Im sorry but Jon mcmurray was really prominent from 2002-2004/5ish

NS is just a bunch of sheep, first everyone hated him and now that Rowen and a few other people have said good shit about him everyone is just following their lead, the truth is mcmurray just hucked his body in the park like jamie pierre did off 200 ft cliffs, he has huge balls and all but was never that amazing at skiing, its not like he was a forefather of skiing like the New Canadian Air Force but he was one of the first generations of skiers like crichton that followed the NCAFs lead, while he does deserve some respect for that, he is a troll, and all he is doing is posting on here to piss people off and plug his shitty music

He has a self edit in Hit List Remix, and also I think he has 1 or 2 tricks in Ready Fire Aim.

He reminds me of Brian Gallant, just cant stand the internet heat.
 
yeah he didnt really do anything for skiing, IMO he only had a negative effect on it. mostly because he is a gigantic fucking tool, he should stick to jumping in bushes.
 
just because he used to be a popular skier and he had some awesome movie segments doesn't take away from the fact that he is a gigantic douche. just because hes an athlete doesn't mean you should have to respect him.

he use to be the man and everyone respected him...crazy skier and seemed like he would be way fun to hang around....but after watching that loose cannon playaz trailer, i view him as nothing but a huge piece of shit....like going into a grocery store and knocking a huge display down? that's not cool or funny...you're a piece of shit if you do that kind of stuff...kids that do that kind of stuff are the ones in high school that fuck off completely and have no other options so they join the military to only become land mind detonators (not literally but they are the front line soldiers that are sent into the most risky situations cause well lets face it...it's not a huge loss if something happened to them) once again..as a pro skier, i have tons of respect for the guy....as a loose cannon playaz faggot...huge piece of shit...cut the bullshit mcmurry...stop trying to be black and get back into skiing cause that's where you belong...when you finally grow up one day, do you really want to show your kids videos of you getting into fights and knocking shit over and attempting to rap? or do you want to show them segments of you in professionally made ski movies doing things that millions of people only wish they could do?

Just because someone didn't create the first twin tips doesn't mean there not a pioneer of the sport, the sport is always being pioneered, and he was the first one to flip on or off a rail which progressed the sport.
