i didnt think it was epic destruction. jon stewart kinda looked like he didnt know what he was talking about. Meanwhile he pretty much yelled at Cramer for shit he didnt do. Of all people it is def not cramers fault.
 
I wouldn't say stewart didn't know what he was talking about, but it wasn't epic destruction. I thought cramer did a good job of keeping calm, admitting mistakes, and i give him credit for even coming on the show, must guys don't have the guts to let stewart tear into them. Still entertaining to watch stewart burn him a bit, i look at the daily show and colbert as some of the better resources for news out there haha.
 
haha i watched it.

cramer acted like a little girl saying he was lied to and blaming other people for his bullshit advice. meanwhile john stewart told him to quit fucking around, very clearly in fact. definitely thought it was awkward though hahahahah but that added to it because john stewart just fucked him over hard

So why didn't sterwert stop it if he knew so much?

what on earth was he supposed to do. he is not a news show. for christ sake his show is on comedy central, a channel where one of the hit programs is puppets making crank calls.
 
I dont care if the plummer down the street at Maaco knew about it. It should have been prevented, and the people in the know should have acted more responsibly.
 
But if he knew about it and wanted to make a change why would that stop him?

no sense in playing the blame game right now. fix the problem, then punish the people who started it, not the other way around.
 
he pretty much called it a ratings stunt the whole time, it wasn't a coincidence that Jim Cramer went on like 80 other news shows to talk about it last week.
 
of course they are going to talk jim cramer down after he came out saying that obama's policies and the stimulus package was terrible.

if jon stewart thinks that people shouldn't get money and that they should work for it, why did he support obama in the last election?
 
In order to fix the problem, its important to know exactly what the problem is.

The people behind the problem though don't want us to know whats wrong, hence John calling everyone out which was awesome to see.
 
While Kramer may have deserved the pwnage from John, anyone who takes financal advice from a TV show isnt the sharpest tool in the shed imo. You should sit down and talk with a financial advisor about your own particular money and investing situation. Because no two people will be in the same boat when it comes to their money and what kind of investing they want to do.
 
its easy to say i told you so after the fact.

why doesn't jon stewart post all of his fiscal moves as he makes them, and we'll see how well he plays the markets.
 
i have no idea why i said "you people" lol. sorry about that.

but. hes a comedian, not part of what is supposed to be the financial genius news that CNBC markets themselves to be, regardless of how wrong they are.
 
Just like conspiracy theorists say they are spending every day preventing the earth from being destroyed by aliens by distributing tin foil hats. Neither jon nor a plumber would have enough credibility, let alone power to stop something as big as a global recession~
 
no one is making the right moves right now....thats the point john was making!

He was calling out everyone who keeps selling their advice as "the right move" even though they dont know any better and that their just trying to scam us themselves.

I've always looked at investment people like fancy used car salesmen...fucking shady as hell
