I would assume that they would do so because they like it. A better question would be, "why do you like looking like that?". To which an answer may be, "why do you feel it necessary to ask?". And so on and so forth.

Lol at thinking I "sit on an internet ski forum all day every day." It takes like 20 seconds to make a post. I just keep NS open in a tab in my browser and occasionally check to see what's going on. I'm sitting at my parents' house watching football looking at random shit on the internet. Do you have a better suggestion for what I should be doing with my time?
 
Think about it this way.

He's a pro skier.

Doctors wear surgical coats.

Lawyers wear suits.

Skiers wear tee shirts and shorts, it's his lifestyle, he doesn't have to give a shit to be successful. Whens the last time you saw a pro skateboarder wearing a sport jacket?

They are actually just one pair of legendary shorts that gets passed from pro to pro. If you want em, start landing triples. Also I have the same kicks as the chap in the picture.
