mmm this should be in regionals, however i live near toronto, and there isnt really anywhere to ski. Especially not near york. Your best bet is to catch the go bus up to barrie on the weekends, and then from there see if you can make friends with someone who will give you a lift to louis or horseshoe and then crash on their couch.
i live in Oakville which is in the GTA (1 hour from toronto).
Good places to ski would be:
Mount st. louis Moonstone
Blue Mountain
Horseshoe Valley
Dagmar
...and Glen Eden.
I would say mount st. louis moonstone and blue mountain are the best but they are kind of far away. Horseshoe and Dagmar arent bad at all, Glen Eden is a bit small but its okay if you make the best of it. It takes around an hour and a half to two hours from where i live, depending on the traffic to get to Blue, mslm and horseshoe
Defenitely put this up in regionals, but I basically live in Toronto.
If you want some decent skiing, your best choices and Mt St Louis and Horseshoe which are in Barrie, or Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Anything in Collingwood is pretty good for that matter
i live in kitchener, its 1 hour away. come to blue mountain, and make friends with someone from Beaver Valley a private ski club (where i ride) because we have a really nice park. well all be your friend
Hit up the Mt st louis sitehttp://www.mslm.on.ca/how-to-get-here.htm and that link will give u the number for the bus company. they give you a ride to and from the hill. thats ur best bet if you dont know ne one.
