Who likes cannon parks??

Grew up skiing Cannon and shredded that mountain all through college. Never really dipped into the parks at all because I didn't think they were great, but that was about 5 years ago, hopefully things have changed.

Moving back east after a few winters out in Tahoe and Breck, stoked to ski the east again!

Also, what's the deal with Mittersill? Is it chair access now? Sucks if so, that area of the mountain was the tits back in the day.
 
I'm not a big fan of Cannon. It's a great mountain, a lot of people love it, and I'm not saying it's a bad mountain, just not for me.
 
Still is. Yeah, there's chair access but if you get to Barrens and the lift line early enough you can shred good snow for a while.

The best glades are still accessible via hiking from Cannonball chair, though, unless you want to take the Mittersill chair and hike ~1/4 mile up the trail in your ski boots to true peak. Pony Express was unreal back in March when we got all that snow.
 
I heard they were cutting a huge racing trail on the bottom of Mittersill and widening baron's, is it actually happenning?
