Who knew glass could be so amazing?

Hopefully this isn't a repost, but I found this video that they claimed to be "glass" to be crazy. If the future is like this, I'll be amazed. I'm sure all this technology is already in the engineering process. incredible.

Some of that stuff is pretty cool, but so bourgeois. Who would really be able to afford that stuff in their home. Especially since some of it really doesn't serve much purpose (interactive kitchen counter?) I mean that stuff is crazy, and it would be awesome to see this in our lifetimes. However, I can't imagine any middle class people having technology like this in their homes for quite some time. Who knows though, I'm not expert, and I have no idea about the costs or how common this technology will become.

the counter is one of the first ones id get! The whole touch stove was sick and itd be sweet to have an infinite recipe screen right there for when the women is cookin

yeah me too. it was way sicker than i expected, and definitely worth the trip if you have the chance.

I agree, it would be cool. But out of all of the other ones, would you really find that the most useful? Maybe you would I don't know. I'd get the window's first.

Deployable airbags with spikes. They soften the blow to the counter but hurt that bitch twice as hard

This is what were heading too. It doesnt matter how much itll cost, it will be the standard so it will be cheaper. I mean Africa wouldnt have it but all normal home would. But the one in the car, good idea but when you crash, its even more dangerous. The flexible glass one was tight, itd be so useful.

hahahaha i immediatly thought of that vid where this girl and her bf and making out and he lifts her up onto the stove and burns her ass. hahahaha

The way I look at it is this,

Back say 30 years, the people of that age never would have even imagined to have the kind of technology that we have today (iPods, Smartphones, Hybrid cars, Webcams, etc.) And now today, these items are part of our daily lives. And they aren't all that expensive either (debatable). So I think this video has left us in the same position as the people 30 years ago. We believe that this glass technology is off that charts and not practical and such, but say 15 years from now, these kind of items are going to be part of our daily lives, and many households will contain these sort of appliances (also debatable).

Whatever. I'll take the hate. It's just my opinion.

its pretty cool imo. maybe not to that extreme. but i could for sure seeing this technology being useful and practical in the future

i want all of it, and you could slam your wife on the countertop then push a button on the glass and be making photocopies of her ass then swipe and send them to the newschoolers donator hot girls thread in like .00005 seconds

HAHA now I can watch porn and see myself in the video. i will have really dirty glass :(

really, thats all i can see this being used for.

yeah, fuck that sterile ass robo life... GROSS! maybe id just take one massive glass ipad though...

but wait... imagine a smart bong. it could display your vitals, your level of blazedness, and entertain you with outstanding visuals and videos.

None of that technology is even that crazy. You could have a lot of that stuff today if you wanted. It would just be expensive as hell.
