who jusges high-stakes contests like the x-games u.s. open etc?

former mogul skiiers?

johnny mosely himself?

plake?

deceasare?

or is it a bunch of useless old tards?

i feel like soem of the members on here that watch a ton of ski movies, know all the tricks solid, and can do most of them and know whats really hard to do would make better judges...

are the judges actually qualified? its not like there are actual newschool veterans out there...

For the two you mentioned they have ether hurt, or older pros. People like Mike Douglas, Shane Szocs, Loubek, and others. They will also take people like Pep, Evan Raps etc... who are just out for those comps. I feel bad for the judges they have a shitty job. IT is not that easy to see the tech parts of the run from where they are sitting.

Pep judged (2004 X-Games, US Open, WSC)

Szocs always judges

Loubek is often a judge

Regnier is often a judge

Philou sometimes judges

and I'm purty sure the Levinthals have judged too
