Who is the most overated freeskier?

how is he overrated, ive seen him in a mag twice...id say schiller for the pure reason that everytime i open skitime the pics are almost all of him
 
candide is overrated!!

the only grab he uses is tail.. and he only does cork 7 and 3's....he doesn't even do a switch trick!!!

Yeah, Candide is definately one of the sickest riders out there. Doing different grabs doesn't add to the difficulty of the trick THAT much, so get over it.

I don't think that any pro is overrated, cause they had to get to where they are somehow. And besides that, unless you are better than them, you shouldn't be talking shit.
 
again, please watch rastafaride 3, or 4, or 5 for that matter, then go watch the berckenridge edit on here. then shut the hell up about candide not doing switch tricks. switch dspin 10s.
 
okay there is no such thing as a overrated free skier cuz if they got to a pro level obviously they r sick there r noo over rated free skiers period
 
im quite FUCKING aware of what overated means but every rider so far mentioned in this thread (other than the really obvious ones) is good and not overrated so... FUCK OFF

OK, heres a thought, go to brek and watch him ski practicing for x-games, cab 10s with safeties and other shit, just cause you don't see it doesn't mean he can't do it
 
i honestly dont think that there really are many that stand out right now, people dont seem to be talkin too much shit about who is the greatest ever, which is actually nice for a change. and for those of you who said schiller or candide or some of those top guys, your retarted. they are some of the best and work their asses off to get to that point.

and also, you have to understand, candide mostly just goes bigger than every one.

the hip he hit straight on no one else even attempted, and he cork 5ed it, twice.

i think its hard to say someone is overrated when they are the only ones in the world hitting it. (that trick is still one of the sickest in history in my book).
 
belanger, yea hes nasty at pipe but he hasnt won it in x the past couple years nd i dont think he competes in slopestyle
 
think about it, everyones always saying how hes sssooooooooooooooooooo under rated, this means he would be the most over rated under rated skiier.
 
speaking of overrated, i think style is overrated. i kinda like crazy shit. there are way too many 5s these days. i mean a good smooth 5 is sick but thats not all i wanna watch. the trick is to make huge tricks have style

you know whats funy is it was me who said that. you cant 100% honestly say that john hasnt gotten his fair share of attention and that seeing as everyone is always like JOHN SYMMS IS SOOO OVERRATED!!, that he isnt as under rated because that DOES in fact mean that he is getting attention
 
Right...I understand where you are coming from but I'd say if he was getting as much attention as Rainville, or Pollard that are obviously better skiers. then hes over rated, but for a skier that really hasnt come out as much as them I'd say hes pretty decently rated, but if his name blew up really big and he wasnt backin it then hell yeah he was over rated
