Who is going to the Dew Tour?

I'm heading up sat morning....got the morning 1/2 day ticket. but will prolly only ski till about 11 when women ski events starts! So who else is going?
 
WAIT WHAT ITS NOT IN BRECK...woops i guess i got my dates mixed up...will be in breck for the week. hehe
 
i'll be up there at least 1 day. will there be skiing as well? or just watching or what?
 
dude i havnt had to get a hotel yet... but i know that if u go alitlle outside of mountsnow u could find some stuff... but i mean that was when nothing big was going on.... im soo stokedd to be there all week
 
im goin friday and saturday but does anybody know if you need a lift ticket or can i just walk up to the events, cuz i dont feel like buying one

The second stop of the Winter Dew Tour is in beautiful Mount Snow

Resort in Vermont. Home to some of the best snow in Vermont, Mount Snow

recently converted the entire 95 acres of the Carinthia Mountain into a

new terrain park, making it the perfect playground for the best

Freeskiers and Snowboarders of the Winter Dew Tour. Expect a great

competition as the best athletes from the first stop in Breckenridge

continue to battle it out for the Winter Dew Cup.

Catch all the competition at the base of Carinthia. Parking at

Carinthia is first come first serve. If you don't like waking up early,

Mount Snow will provide shuttles from all the other lots. If you like

to leave the car at home, you can catch the MOOver, a free shuttle that

picks up at various hotels and inns throughout the town.

yep he is right....all events are supposed to be at the base of carinthia park so that everyone can walk up. i called twice and asked online chat people 3 times...so i got 5 conformations that the events are free and you can walk to them!
 
Only the real big park that hasn't even opened yet will be closed off. Everything else will be open, itll be the same as it is now with a big park and a medium park
 
Anyone have a place for 2 17 year olds to stay? We're willing to pay a couple bucks for couch / table / dungeon space anywhere near snow for friday night.
 
i forgot to ask today, but the parks will be open, even while the events are going on right?
 
I just booked my reservations for Fri and Sat. I plan on being extreeeeemely cheebed up. booooyah!
 
are you sure? i havent heard anything yet, but i can't imagine gulch being open because you can cut thru the woods to inferno mad easy. they'd have to have people watching all the way down. and the line for the quad is going to be a few thousand people free-for-all...
 
I'm not sure, I kinda just assumed. Even if you're able to cut through the woods, what kind of an idiot would try and poach the course while the event is going on? They'd be instantly tackled/tracked down/arrested. Maybe they'll block it off with fencing? I dunno. I'd be pretty pissed if gulch was closed though so hopefully that's not the case
 
so, my car just passed out on me, so plans to go got thwarted...anyone driving up from western mass?? i'll pay gas of course...

and sidenote: anyone know the CT toyota 4runner with the ns sticker at snow on sunday? i was following you for like half an hour on the way up!
 
hahah. yeah, if i leave in an hour, and wanted to get frostbite, die of exhaustion, and get raped by the hicks who live off rt. 2/112/100, i might get there by thursday.
 
so how much did the lovely rain we got today hit mount snow and/or mess up the park?!

fricking weather I almost missed my flight to utah!
 
Yaa that was my buddy Justin,his name is JQ89 on here. but ya just rolled up at mount snow now and it was snowin from vt border up! they already got 4 inches of fresh... and went up to carinthia to check everything out it it was soo sick.
 
4:50 am. I'm en rouuuuute. Look for the gimpy ginger on crutches, cheebed and druuunk. booyah.
