Who hit the first rail on skis?????

This is an Eric Iberg question for sure. JF Cusson was one of the first. Jason Levinthal could be in there (maybe on blades). The Mount Hood crew that had home made twin tips as well.

First legit urban rail was JP Auclair in Aspen.

It was me. No, I sure as hell can't prove that it was (nor do I actually think it was), but nobody can prove that it wasn't.

I think I hit my first rail in 1995, maybe 1996? Just a kid in the snowboard park getting yelled at for being where I shouldn't. And by rail, I mean a picnic table. Sure as he'll was more fun than learning backscratchers on the mogul jumps, which is what I was supposed to be doing at the time.

Was this prior to the rail in level 1 Balance or are we not counting that as legit since it's a picnic table to rail?

The year before Balance. They were at the US Open I think?

He slides like a 20 plus stair down rail on original 1080's. Photo is on PBP's 13 movie sleeve. This makes me feel old af.
