who here uses the word (wicked) a lot

Yesterday I went over to see a friend of mine that has been living in cal for the last 3 years. We were talking for a while then she started laughing at me every now and then. I was like what is so funny she said I use the word wicked in almost every sentence and I'm a true mainer and she misses hearing people talk like that. I never knew I used it so much. Any one else say wicked a lot?

^no way. I use it a lot, my friends use it a lot, everyone uses it. then again everyone says pahk the car and bubblah so go figure. and we dont even notice the accent, so used to it. IT'S WICKED AWESOME! I love bostooon

wicked is spur of the moment word...its natural, and if you say it and it sounds unnatural people can tell

Yeah I know this is an old post thingy ma bob. Whatever.. I use 'wicked' all the time. I live in mass but I was born in Maine.. hmm... people in mass use it a lot too. Not as much as maine.

i used to use it all the time, but i have stopped...i cant stand boston accents, makes them sound so dumb

I use wicked and dont really see why people find it funny...I guess thats what you get living in NH all your life.

My last name is Cahill (pronounced K hill) and one time in the supermarket in Maine the cashier said ' What a wicked good name, Cah'-hill. It's like driving the cah' up the hill.' That girl had the triple threat, she said 'wicked', was very dumb, and had the Mainah' accent.
