Who here has a usta ranking if they know what that is?

im in 16s and 18s, but switching just now, i turned 17 this week and played my first 18s and had to play the winner of the tourn. top 30 kid first round, he was good, but i hope to crack the top 50 in singles and top 10 in doubles
 
u guys seem kinda young, so u might not know the answer, but what ranking are any of your friends that are going to play or do play division 3 tennis?
 
tennis is fun. I use to play a shitload like a couple hours a day in the summer and a couple times a week during the winter and then I think I played way too much and lost interest in it. stopped playing for 8 monthes. Picked it up again, but just for fun now. I never got state ranked but got close. I have more fun skiing anyway.
 
I think tennis rankings are such bs. You have to play in so many tourneys just to get a half decent ranking. At my school, the tennis team blows. We are D1, and 2 of my friends who are both very talented wanted to walk on. The coach had them play eachother for an hour and didnt even really watch just because they didnt have high rankings or anything. He didn't even give them a shot to make the team, and i guarentee they are better than some of the kids on the team. Full of shit if you ask me
 
we will play d1 boi, actually d3 is much better then d2, i have a lot of friends that are good enough to play on many d1 teams but settled for d3. they r mostly high ranked in ne, like top 30 or used to be top 30
