Who here enjoys 80s music

The 80s were the last great decade in American history. If you don't have Tears for Fears or Talking Heads somewhere on your playlist, then your parents didn't do their job correctly.

talking heads had one hit song and then were forgot of. Nothin like duran duran doe.

the 80s blew bro. 60s, 70s and 90s on the other hand... shit gets me horny.

i think rock music took a huge step backwards with all the shit that came out of the 80s

who the fuck doesn't? coke and pussy/dick being slanged like a motherfucker. GAP Band and Rick James are some of my idols.

Tonight at work we had a solid 80s playlist going...we all loved it, customers loved it too. Not my favorite but it was a welcome change.

it didnt step backwards, the transition of artists from traditional music recording into the world of electronically produced stuff is clunky but so was the technology. if you look at shit like the emu drumulator from the early 80s you can see the amount of progress from a simple drum machine to a full on DAW in 88 with Akai making the OG MPC. it was a time rock musicians saw the opportunities of the new equipment, but simply werent fit for the music it can make.

A lot of good stuff came from the 80s, the 60s, 70s, and early 90s.

Hell, I even thought "todays hits" were better 6 years ago than what is getting pumped out today.

Use to listen to Guns n Roses, RATM, and other bands like that. 70s is much better IMO but everything 2005 and up is absolute shit

The 80s were awesome.

Tears for Fears, Flock of Seagulls, Def Leppard are go-to's, but there is a there is a lot of gold from that era.
