Who hear remembers the night Tom Wallisch blew up?

Cause I sure do. I remember looking at almost every forum on here and seeing ever 3 thread down about "OMGZZ TOM WALLISCH" "WHAT JESUS WOULD LOOK LIKE IF HE SKIED!". it's just crazy to look back on it and think that Newschoolers.com blew up a skier to the huge amount that he is today in not just weeks or days but hours. I dont really know what the point of this thread is at all, I just feel important to have been apart of that night, and a part of Newschoolers.com.
So who else remembers that night?
 
I remember that night and the first time I watched his super-unknown edit and being so stoked on it. Party & Bullshit and The gates instrumental. That brings me back...
 
dont remember the specific night, but i do remember that time period.

quick by roundtop riders anyone? he was so hidden and unknown. ever since that movie dropped, and his edit with steve stepp in mammoth, he blew up.
 
i can remember this too, i think it might have been a 4bi9 edit but just everyone blew me away, it was so sick. I remember watching Gus Kentworthy's too
 
quick? try all the Roundtop Riders edits from days of old. he and warnick's park city edit with Blackalicious.....good times.

wisp is my home mountain...i remember watching him ride since as long as i can remember and always thought he would be ridiculous. didn't expect any of this though...he and skiing have come a long way.
 
I remember the first time i saw one of his edits, it was that mammoth edit where they kinda do a zoolander parody, and i just thought the vid was funny and shit. then, years later, i spotted that "What jesus would look like if he freestyle skiied" vid on youtube and i thought, wow this guy is fuckin legitt.

Yo imagine how fucked it must've been for him, being on NS as usual, just chillin, logs off, then next time he logs on everyones talking about him.
 
I remember the day I learned that even though some words are pronounced the same, they are spelled differently and have different meanings.

It was a wonderful day.

No, you have it all wrong. Eheath was pussyfooter and I changed mine to that when that whole Eheath name thing was going on and everyone changing theirs to similar names.
 
I think I remember, was that the same year Ian cosco had the superunknown edit with no music? I remember being pissed cause his was the best out of all until I saw T walls.
 
I remember my friend told me to watch it during lunch, so i walked home, waited for it to load on my slow ass computer, watched it, and was late for school.
 
i remember watching quick and thinking steve stepp was a hero, with tom wallisch second.then super unknown came out and things changed BIG TIME.(steve stepp is still a hero of mine i once helped him find his car keys /claim)

well wallisch was dropping edits with roundtop for a while and i remember seeing him and stepp and whoever else and wallisch rocking the argyle sweater haha. he deffiantly realy blew up the year he moved to utah and dropped his superunknown, it still never gets old.
 
I remember watching the 4bi9 edits on youtube when I stumbled upon them. I had no idea who he was or anything or how to pronounce 4bi9. I didn't think anyone else knew about 4bi9. Then like a couples months after everyone on here started going crazy. That was back in like late winter/ spring 07.
 
first time i ever saw an edit of wallisch is when his S.U. entry got leaked on youtube. but i had seen him at breck earlier that year shreding in that brown suit!! claim. lol
 
Definitely remember the thread wickes made the night his superunkown leaked. Shit hit the fan. I watched it like ten times in a row...
