No... it's true. The midwest is full of tiny ass ski hills.... people don't even know that there is skiing in the midwest. We average about 40" of natural snowfall a year here in Wisconsin.... the Midwest is the ghetto of the US ski areas.

And here is another ski hill in southern Wisconsin.. it's called Grand Geneva. Yes, you are looking at the entire ski area in this picture... compare the height of the hill to the size of the lodge... yeah, it fucking sucks. Imagine what the parks look like.
