WHO HERE HAS THEM. I want an opinion on mounting the shock obsorber. They look steezy, but they might have a lifter affect. Experiences and opinions?

I have skied with them and I didn't have any lifter problems, I don't know that the "shock absorber" does a whole lot but it's better than hard plastic

took mine off. no use for them. it's better to have a lower center of grazity than 5mm of "shock absorption"

broke them twice this season, never thought i'd say this about a pair of look bindings, but i'm definitely disappointed with them...

i have them with the shock obsorbers on and they work great... there really is no riser effect... they are a park binding

^They are the same as any other binding, they're just named the jib bindings or whatever.

I personally don't like any added lift. I feel that it adversely affects ski feel, putting the rider further from the snow. But if the bindings came with risers, you need to get different screws to mount them without those risers.

i haveum with the shock absorber....i didnt feel a difference....and there sick binderz they just pop off in midair sometimes

I honestly just adjust to any small riser on my bindings, to the point where it's barely noticeable. 5-10mm isn't a big deal, certainly not worth filing down screws for.

Its actually like 2 to 3 mm, so I dont think I'll feel them that much, and since I rode fujatives with lifters for the past three years I'll probably feel spectacular at rails.

i got the PX12's and PX12jibs.... mounted on different skis.

honestly i cant tell the difference.

its only about 1/8" lift at most i think most other lifters are around 1/2"
