anyone do or heard of suspending your board across a span and putting weight on the middle so it can gain some flex to it?

is your board supposed to be upside down or regular? don't some skiers stand so their tips are on the stairs and their tals on the ground so that they get some camber to them? i guess thats the same idea, but i've never actually heard of someone doing it with a board.

yeah im not too sure, some guy was just telling me at the t and l sale when i was picking up my board, shouldve asked more questions

Any thing that gets your board more flexy will be putting small cracks into the core. dont fuck with that because they make flexy boards

i wouldnt do it. it might give it more flex, but you will loose a lot of pop and wont be able to ollie as high or pop off of jumps as high.

To tell the truth I don't know why people want their boards to be butter. If you do, just buy a k2 www, theyre so soft you can't land any jump over like a 20. I find darkstars to be about the perfect softness.. But no i've never done that.

actually people have enjoyed flexing my ar6s so much lately (tail on the ground, tips in the air, pushing where bindings are) that now they have gone like wet noodles and are pretty much fully rockered, so i guess you could do the with a board? It will wreck the pop though, had to buy new sticks for jumps.

yeah i was sketched out about doing it.. dont think i will tho, it makes complete sense about the pop thing..
