I made the move, permanently. Mississauga to Vancouver. Just get to Whistler, buy a lift ticket, get on a gondola, and go up. It's the same as an ontario hill, but about 232435434 times the size. You'llhave to go up 2-3 lifts to make it to the top.
Get a trailmap. Study it. Then go where it looks cool. Stay inbounds, and remember to be careful. You'll wanna go hard, and you will, but don't push too hard or the mountain will push back and you'll be its bitch.
I'd say to stick to Blackcomb. Seventh Heaven will be a nice place to play in powder, and it's good to learn to ski it if you need to. And if you're worried, don't be, cuz it's pretty chill. Rent fat skis, watch out for fog(BAD), go hard, and have fun.
