Who had an AIM account, or AOL

ahahahaha oh god no. the flashbacks are beginning. it's funny how I didn't even need to play that video to know the entire thing.

I still use my AIM everyday, i definitely use it more than when i was a youngin. only because i don't got cell service where i live and it's easy to text my homies and see what's up from AIM.
 
Totally this. I hate not getting service at home.

I actually still have a few friends that use dial-up, I believe. Thought I'm not sure. Might just be slow as fuck.
 
I'm totally chatting on AIM and using Myspace right now. I've missed this. If only I was on a dial up connection.

The AIM noise is fucking sweet btw.

My first computer had a 14.4k modem. Then I got a 28k modem when they came out. I upgraded to a 56k modem when they came out and holy shit that was fast!! I remember the days when you would get up to go do shit while the pages loaded....do not miss those days at all!

AOL had it on lock back in the day!
 
Haha its funny, cable internet first came out when I was in 9th grade, and wifi made its grand appearance after I graduated HS. Sexting had barely been discovered when I was in HS. I didn't have a cell phone at all (and the one I got was a Cingular brick phone, no texting on it, forget a camera) until 16. Its pretty crazy to think how the technology has changed so quickly.

I tremble to think what my 11 year old sister is doing with wifi and her 4th gen iPod touch.
 
Hahaha those were the days. Everytime you wanted to download a song off Napster no one in your family could make or receive a phone call for about 12 hours.
 
I remember picking up the phone to make a call and that shrill fucking noise of dial-up blasting in my ear. Fuck that noise. I had an AOL account, it was Badboy787, Fucking stupid. I used to add all these random people and make friends. I also use to use Neopets sooo fucking much
 
Wow this brings back so many memories. I remember our old white block shaped computer in my parents bedroom, I had an AOL account and dial up and heard that noise all the time. I would always go play Lego Racers on the computer after my tiresome elementary school day. I miss that.
 
haha that was my first cell....when I was 17. jesus time just scoots on by (now i feel old)
