No I got a tour of Champlain and some what checked out UVM, I've been hearing good things about burlington I just want a college kids perspective. I did really like Champlain though

all the skiers and boarders are just one big group of hoodrats, you seem to already have a loose butthole though so you should fit in well

I'm currently a sophomore studying International Business at Champlain, it's a great school for the somewhat restricted divisions taught here and Burlington is the best college town. If you have any specific questions about the school feel free to ask me!

My brothers go/went to UVM and say that they have never met any one who actually graduated from Champlain. They all transfer out.

I decided against champlain because of the tuition costs. I talked to a friend who knows people who graduated a few years back and they are all in debt. Its too bad its so expensive cause it seems like a really nice school.

Just visited UVM and St. Mike's. UVM has a nice campus and what not but I got some bad vibes from St. Mike's. Don't really enjoy the whole Catholic thing they've got going on.

I rarely hear about people transferring out. Much more often you meet people who have transferred in. And the job placement is kind of high within the first four months of graduation for Champlain grads

amen to that! a lot of us NSers go to uvm and champlain, it's a great place if you love to ski, and both schools are great too! Burlingtons a great atmoshpere and everyone is down to always have a good time. St Mikes is very similar, but it is alot smaller and sort of secluded from burlington which is what I didn't like about it. Both schools are pretty pricy, but if you love the area and your serious about school id say give it a go!

I've looked at both, and st. mikes.

IMO St. Mikes looks terrible, UVM is the top college on my list, and the only reason I'm not going to Champ is that they don't have my major. Champlain has a fucking beautiful campus, and it's across from UVM so you get that great small school class atmosphere, but the big school social life. Furthermore, Burlington is such an amazing city.

If you're into those, I'd also check out a few schools in NH. IT's an awesome state with great colleges (Plymouth, St. Anselm, Keene, Franklin Pierce) They are all in a good range from ski resorts.

its a good thing you already love it considering today was move in day...but TREK is a week trip before school and you can chose like hiking, biking, different outdoor activities. its a good oppurtunity that UVM has to get outside, meet some kids before school, and have fun. I didn't do it, but i wish i did. and are you planning on joining UVMFST?
