Who films for you?

Alright, my friends and I, well pretty much just me, have a little production company. Im the type of kid that wants to make a good film at the end of the year. But no one wants to film. Then i end up doing it and not getting any footy of me and then they want to see the movie. So i tell em to fuck off. Who do you guys have tape on their own will. Cuz half of these assholes suck at taping anyways.

i must of said that wrong. Just like alittle thing we call "EC SUMMIT" productions. I made a website and shit, and we just have weekly videos and a vid at the end of the year. Or that's what i hoped of it.

I have a business liscense under caz paintball that i got when i was 12 and it died so i just use that for my website design, graphic design and production. Oh and to answer your question I don't try to be good at skiing. I like filming because even though I suck I still get to go to awesome places.

i get my dad too do most of it by i have a good skier friend who likes too ski and film like me so we alternate threww laps or he will film for the day, or me or somtin

haha sucka! nomen rides with us almost everytime out. but we all film, one buddy is really into cameras and stuff and hes bought some stuff so he does most of it tho. but we still film him and all take turns. it works out well

one kid in my crew enjoys filming alot so he just does all the filming cause he enjoys it, not sure if this is muh help to you but tell your friends to film you or else there not gonna get filmed and such

The best way to work it out is everyone fims for a lap and it switches of, rotating every lap. So if your in a bigger group (6 or more) its the best, because you get 5 laps of film and one lap of filming.

you ski at wachusett right?

i'm there all the time, so if you ever filming just come over and say hi.

Me and my friends just switch off runs filming, it works out just great. And sometime we ride with some kids who dont really like park much and they film us for like an afternoon.

In previous years I have encountered this same type of problem. What i Did was i just talked with my friend about it on the lift. I leveled with him. I said "look i know you like being filmed, so does everyone else. the problem here is you suck at filming, so either get better at it and learn to fucking share/be a friend, or you can forget about being filmed at all." it worked for a little but he began to slip back into his old ways, so finally i just started "missing" the shot when he would ski. he got the message, and then we were all chill.

p.s. they are your friends so you should all be able to be chill together.

That's how I've put out 5 movies in 6 years... the filming isn't professional, but we're kids having fun, fuck taking 15 mins to get a good shot, it's a waste of time.

i hired a crack phine from the streets who films for me and i give him rocks in return. sometimes he sucks my dick too

Don't film your friends if they don't agree to film you in return. It's just the nice thing to do, if you have 4 friends, you still get to ski 3 out of 4 runs...it's not a big hassle. So tell your friends that or tell them to fuck off.

Haha happens to me biking. I have to make a special trip to just film me to even have a part. The thing is that the only friend good enough to me to do that isn't a great filmer and the footage isn't as good as the rest. Just yesterday I had my 13 yearold neighbor filming me on a new trail haha.

theirs this kid that loves to film me and my crew he brings his camera up and films us all day every day without complaning...you should be more like him

me and a few fo my friends are goinm to be making a little movie this upcoming season and a few of my friends are willing to film which is weird because they dont usually like filming.

But maybe what you could do is set up a tri-pod or something on the jump your going to hit and film it until you stomp the landing

dood, just like, if u want it to be good and u want recongnition and stuff like that, and it sounds like ur the better filmer, then i say you should keep doing it. if u want to be shot more in the movie/edits, then maybe u should stay away from the follow cams and stuff for you, and have a friend tape you standing still like next to the jump or rail. if ur friend cant film like that, goudge his eyes

i had the same problem last year, we had a kid who wasnt much into the park so he filmed alot but then he got sick of it and tried to hand off the camera to someone else and no one was willing to film so nothing got filmed

You can't always do both. I skied only half a season but I don't regret it because I love filmmaking just as much as I love skiing. If you only want some quick little edits to show off some tricks and thats it, then perhaps it wouldn't be such a good idea to skip skiing for filming, because you won't be in it and you will have missed a lot of good days.

so it really depends on how much you want to put into it. For instance, I spent probably $9000 ($3000 of it was actually a gift) on movie stuff last year, which could've gone to skiing. so you have to ask yourself is "do I grab my poles, or do I grab my camera?"

my brother that snowboards films me most of the time, or we plan on doing that, im gonna film him once in a while too

friends film me but im always carrying around the camera cuz its mine and every1 else refues 2 so its a pain in the ass

well theres this one kid but hes retard. he shakes he leaves the lense cap on and he zooms in way to far so all you see is a peice of clothing flying

I'd much rather get filmed than film guys. But eveyrone alwasy talks about making a movie at the end of the year. But thye aren't gonna film, they want me to do it. And when i tell em if they want a movie they have to film they suck at it. The camera's all over the place. So what it comes down to is me editing the movie that i'm barely in because every shot they tape me off is ruined...

if you bring your camera out on the first run, your already making a mistake. Go ride the mountain, the park, then after you find something worth filming, go get the shot. dial in a good trick on a good feature then take that money.

Rome wasnt built in a day, and everyone knows you dont get alot of worthy shots in one day. you cant blame your best buddy for not wanting to shoot 30 outtakes and walk away with you flailing your arms at the end of the flat bar...

Either Tanner Hall pays me to follow cam me around all day or I have my mad bitches film me while they are naked.
