Who else thinks floyd mayweather is afraid to fight manny pacquiao?

I think Mayweather would beat him, but I don't see why they can't compromise over a drug test. Is there something more I am missing? From what I understand Pacquiao won't fight because Mayweather insists on random drug tests. I don't think Pacquiao juices so why won't he accept it? Again maybe I'm missing something else and don't have my facts straight.
 
because pacman is on gear. straight up. its pretty obvious, seeing as how he can change classes so easily, and retain power even when dropping 30+ pounds.

 
pac man agreed to random drug tests, and then mayweather decided he wasnt gonna fight him unless mayweather got payed much more.... mayweathers a bitch, hes afraid of losing his undefeatedd record to someone whose way better
 
you really dont know much about the situation do you? pacman DID NOT agree to random blood testing. Pacman also turned down a purse that would have been more than double his previous highest purse.
 
Mayweather does think pacman is on HGH/steroids. He has said that on multiple occasions. And fwiw, that is the main benefit of steroids- it increases recovery time so you can get in 8 weeks of training volume in 4 weeks.

The epo, and cyclist type doping is an interesting idea. It makes a lot of sense, seeing as how pacman refuses blood tests but not piss/saliva tests. does boxing even test for high levels of red blood cells? i thought cycling and the olympics were the only ones doing that?
 
is it bad i have looked into getting a blood spinner(having a brain fart right now) so i can just blood dope all the time? getting sick all the time would be worth it, i think haha. i could get a used one from a plasma center for a couple hundo probly.

and if you look at how manny has been able to retain his power through all the weight classes, i think it really shows that he was on gear.

But hey, we'll never know.

that means nothing. they don't fight the same style. Pacquiao needs to get inside for his game plan to work. Mayweather's style is a couple quick hits and he's out for the most part.
 
pacman is a brawler, money is a technician.

you put headgear on these guys and money wins 9 times out of 10. but i think its pretty 50/50 in a real fight.

the guy is just a pure technician. im always more impressed by moneys skill, than by pacmans. many has super quick hands but he isnt as elusive as money...and money has lighting quick hands as well.
 
are you kiddding me? one of those opponents would be Marquez. Manny was extremely lucky the judges robbed Marquez of a win in their last fight. While mayweather soundly beat Marquez (although he had no chance going up in weight and still facing someone 6 ibs heavier) Pacmans style was neutralized by MArquez and he was picked apart.
 
thats what he wants. that is why he is such a great buisnessman. he created an image that people absolutely hate, and they continue buying his fights in the hope that he loses.

I have been a HUGE Manny fan for something like ten years, and would undoubtedly root for him if the fight is ever made.....but come on now. Show Money some respect.

Pacquiao has really improved as a technical fighter over the last few years, but when in trouble he still resorts to moving forward and volume of punches. Ask Ricky Hatton how full speed ahead worked out for him. I realize Manny is a much more talented athlete and fighter than Hatton, but there are some similarities that make me question what sort of matchup it would really be.

Anyone who knows boxing knows this: Styles make fights. Comparing shared opponents is almost totally worthless.

The issues surrounding making the fight are complicated and many. The drug testing shenanigans are not at all central to the conflict preventing the fight at this point. Since all that shit, Manny HAS agreed to submit to a IOC style test leading up to the fight. That issue is essentially moot. The issue is money and power...as usual. Money bucked the boxing establishment by promoting his own fights and telling King, Golden Boy, and most importantly, Bob Arum to go fuck themselves. That has made both sides really dig their heels in and neither wants to give. Mayweather (debatably rightly so) sees himself as the draw. His payperview numbers make a good case to support that. He wants to be paid more than Manny and Manny wants a 50/50 split. The truth is that this fight may never happen which fucking sucks, but to claim it won't happen because Mayweather is "scared" is a fucking joke.

hahaha, that's an insult to Pacquiao. Tyson folded up under any and all adversity or push back.

Manny has been involved in WARS. Fights that swung wildly back and forth, with massive momentum shifts. Manny has been knocked down more than once in at least one or two fights and gone on to win.

Tyson? pssh. Raw punching power? Unrivaled. That's why everyone of his fucking highlights are 1st round ko's where he damn near knocks some schmoe or has been into the 3rd row. Tyson was a physical specimen, maybe the pound for pound strongest and fiercest finisher/puncher ever to do it (some people might say Foreman was the heaviest puncher or Frazier the most relentless puncher). But, when the chips were down, when he didn't slump someone in the first 3 rounds? He quit. Over and over again.

Name a GREAT Tyson fight. I'll wait. There never was one. I can think of 5 Pacquiao fights right now that were better than anything involving Tyson...3 against the same fucking guy!
 
I think (1) everyone wants to see this fight, (2) everyone thinks Money's a cocky prick (not a bad assessment), (3) everyone overlooks the fact that Pacquiao won't submit to certain drug testing. To me, Money comes off as an asshole, but if anything he isn't afraid to fight Pacquiao, Pacquiao comes off as afraid to fight Money.
 
fucking black guys. i hate playing the race card but its in their blood to not back down or show weakness, even when they know they're overmatched. he's terrified of pacman. that guys is like the best pound for pound boxer of all time. he just dances around the questions then gets defensive. i love it. dude just wont admit pacquiao makes him shit his pants.
 
you guys know manny pacquiao dose steroids in his contract he it states he will not fight if he has to be drug tested. he is not a clean fight and is a peace of shit. I have no respect for someone like that. sorry this had nothing to do with the thread but RANT
