So ovver like the past year or so i have treated myself to some pretty dope flannel shirts and i have basically started a trend at my school cuz we now have a day dedeicated to flannels at my school called....Flannel Friday.. who else out there rocks the flannel?
I love wearing flannel...it's really too bad stores have decided all the sudden that flannel's "back" and the new trend or whatever. They actually try and market it as flannel when it's just a plaid button up shirt. Lame. You know shit is bad when the uniform for sorostitutes is "flannel", leggings, and Uggs. REAL flannel is legit as hell.
I rep flannel but it's not like it's a new trend or anything. I just like it because it's comfortable. I hate the standard plaid colors though. I only wear non-traditional plaid flannels or plain, single colored ones.
na man me and a couple friends started it because some sophmore ap class thought fancy friday was cool, but they are nerdy underclassmen so we changed it to flannel friday.
These are definitely the 'in' thing at the moment. I think at least 30% of the kids at Warped Tour this summer were wearing flannel/plaid shirts (and at least another 30% had American Apparel sweatshirts). But I love them, they are so cozy when its a bit cold out.
i sorta started it at my school too. I'm a senior and I talkin to a junior and said that friday is flannel friday as a joke. He took it seriously and told all his friends, who told all their friends, so now they have a facebook group called flannel fridays, which sorta took the satisfaction out of rockin my flannels.
Where do you get your flannels?
I got a couple of sick flannels at vallue village for $5 each. Gotta love the village
I HAVE FLANNEL FRIDAY AT MY SCHOOOL, it started last year as something of a joke. but it was actually "big flannel friday", but we kinda stopped doing by now. but i was dope while it lasted
ps the days of the week are as follows
your choice mondays
tall tee tuesdays
wolf/wildlife shirt wednesdays
thrift store shirt thursday
flannel friday
and on the weekends you should be wearing your game face, fo them ladies
Paul's Discount (they carry alot of Carrhart and farming shit) , Orschelns, or Walmart, sometimes Old Navy. All the shit Hollister and American Eagle makes is just plaid western shirts, not even flannel.
The Burton flannels are baller. Ultrasoft, baggy, and anitbacterial so you hipsters don't smell. I only rock flannels unbuttoned I think when buttoned up they're lame.
