who else listens to county?

allright before i start if what your going to write is going to negative don't even bother responding. but anyways in the past year i have started listening to country, its starting to really spread in my town (maple ridge near vancouver) all our parties consist of a ton of county music, and i don't think we have ever had better parties, everything is so much more laid back and chill, so im just curiose if anyone else is experiencing the same thing?
