Who do you think is the skier equivalent of Shaun White?

Probably someone thats good at skiing but everyone hates and is also very good at inline and kinda weird looking?

So, Life Steeze Media?

idk but if you go on this website called 'pen island' there's whole loads of funny pens you can get for school! I go there all the time, i'm 12.

Dumont would probably be the closest but I respect him way more then Shaun White, he just seems to get caught up in the competition thing sometimes.

Dumont. Fairly well known, people have watched him "grow up" in the sport, gets super pissed when he doesn't win.

However, sadly, people know JJ Thomas' name more than any slope or pipe skier.

Probably goepper. He's focused solely on competing, and people don't like his style. The main difference is that goepper isn't a ginger dbag that wears leather getups and does pipe.

In the eyes of the general public, there is none. Im pretty sure 90 percent of America knows who Shaun White is. The most well known skier is probably Wallisch or Brown. I bet 10 percent of the country knows who they are. It's what happens when you have long red hair and win like 10 gold medals in a row.

Tom wallisch is definitely becoming more commercial than before but I would never compare him to Shawn White. He still makes really good urban edits where White is too pussy to do that. And he will actually hit a back country jump from time to time. Although White can do this he choses not to.

I would probably go with Dumont or Brown, people that strictly do comps.

This will probably be a lot easier to answer a few months from now, but probably tanner hall because it seems like a lot of people I know that dont ski still know who he is.

this. Shaun White is in a league of his own when it comes to flaunting his undeniable talent while also having zero humility and being inclined to ride / train on his own whenever possible.

boom. thank god we dont. The whole premise is that Shaun White doesnt really give back to snowboarding.. he just aspires to be a celebrity - he's almost not really part of snowboarding. It would be Tanner, but luckily he is with Inspired & rides armada, not Salomon or some shit

I actually rode the t-bar with him today and I was really surprised by how nice he was. Like most people who never met him I was expecting him to be a douche, but he was really easy to talk to. That of course doesn't change anything about his way of presenting himself as some kind of super rockstar, who doesn't want to give back to the snowboard community, or his fucking goofy looking style...

Same as Shaun on a popularity or known level, Simon Dumont or Jon Olsson.

The only way to get your name out is time and they have been crushing it for years.
