I saw a guy today with some ns stickers on his helmet wearing salomon spk pro model boots and i used the chads gap call out.

He just sorta looked up at me and said "Really?"

Then i just skied a way..

WHO WERE YOU????????????
 
that's why i don't call out kids i see with ns stickers because most of the time they're huge douchebags who are being really loud and obnoxious in the lift line because they think that looking good=being good at skiing=being cool=owning the mountain
 
i know, as much as it seems like most people on here are pretty sick, i have a feeling like most NSers wouldnt be as sick to really ski with because they would be too worried about being better than you or looking cooler or whatever. obviously thats a huge generalization and it may not be true at all, but whenever i see ns stickers on the hill, its stuck to a kid who looks like an idiot.
 
Well, it wasn't me. How shitty was Mt. Holly today? After it was rainy and 40+ for like 3 days and then decided to snow and freeze last night, I can't imagine it was anything better than poop.
 
yeah true. they just have to realize theres no way theyre going pro and it doesnt matter if you have next years first drop or whatever they like. idk if that even makes sense
 
same. i never say things about NS. whenever i see someone that has an NS sticker on their helmet, they are doing something that makes me want to punch them
 
no these kids are usually like 18 and they shit on the 15 year olds. the 15 year old kids are bad on the internet but fine in person, vice versa with the older folk
 
Whenever I try the NS callout to people with stickers, 90% of them have no fucking clue what I am talking about.
 
I don't call out anymore on the hill because 99% of the people who ski park are on ns, so there's no point. i just talk to them normally.
 
i don't understand why people have to be this way either. it's so fucking easy to be amiable and sociable, but apparently because kids spend so much time on this site giving other people shit for the most minuscule of things, they lack any social development. generally, i listen to my music and mind my own business on the mountain, but if i happen upon a fellow skier, it's easy to strike up a conversation.
 
yeah i did that today and he asked me what newschoolers was, even though he had the sticker. most awkward lift ride ever.
 
i love calling kids out on the hill. they look at me and are like O SHIT ITS 1337
