See this is what annoys me. Who are you to say I'm throwing my vote away. Saying I'm throwing my vote away. I'm voting for who I want to vote for on election day. That's casting my vote the way I want to. Throwing my vote away would be voting for someone that I don't believe in.
And honestly your best point is evolution? Really? GTFO. The world was a different time 70 years ago. Kids these days.
And I know who gary johnson. is. It's a possibilty for me, but not because of any recommendation. I like that he cares about drug policy reform, that's a big one for me. There aren't too many governors willing to talk about that since it's not something that will help toss them into the white house.
"But be realistic is Gary going to win....not a chance in hell."
Why is that even relevant.
"Romney might not be the best candidate but a lot better than Obama"
Again back to the lesser of two evils bullshit.
Here's two options.
A. I'm going to kill you in your sleep with an overdose of opiates.
B. I'm going to kill you with a plastic spoon.
Honestly a seems like the obvious better choice. Who wouldn't rather die a peaceful death than get slowly killed by a round object? At the same time, are you going to actually vote for me to kill you just because option a is better than b?
You can't have progress playing the lesser of two evils game. It just won't happen. If both candidates suck, and you cast a vote for one of them you're helping to bring this country down.
If anything is wasting your vote it's voting for a candidate that blows, and you don't even like. If people keep doing that, this country will never change for the better.
I just take offense to somebody saying I'm throwing my vote away, then cracking jokes, and later talking about how romney is better than obama.
