Whitewalkers are probably some of the nicest looking skis ever

I demoed them a couple days and they literally look like surfboards in ski form. Seeing them on the rack, especially with their unique colorway, they stand out in a good way and make even ON3Ps look boring and nerdy. We could use more of this kinda stuff, surprised that even Pollard has never made a ski shaped quite like these.

Unfortunately, they don't offer everything I need in a big mountain/freeride/off-piste ski, so they're not my next all-terrain ski, but damn, I hope ski shapes continue to evolve in this direction.

word to the wise, next years model is looking at only 100 cm of edge underfoot.... should be crazy

So you’re saying they aren’t what you need to make the whole mountain your playground?

Yeah they weren't good enough in bumps, at least not compared to the Outsiders. Also they're way worse for buttering/manuals

Good, it feels like it could use some more rocker. That's the 121 right? Too wide for what I'm doing unfortunately. I want them to make a heavier but softer + cheaper midfat version for all-mountain and/or park. Fuck it, Whitewalker line

not entirely sure if the rep meant more rocker or just an edgeless section, but definitely interesting regardless. currently all the whitewalkers are 116 underfoot i believe as well

Otherwise known as the best Powder skis ever. I’ve been skiing them almost every day for the last three weeks at CB

What do you like about them? Is there something they do that differentiates them significantly from a typical freestyle-oriented powder ski?

They’re quick, they perform as good as anything else I’ve skied on the groomers if not better (except for ice. That’s it’s Kryptonite) and has tons of ability to charge whatever you need while also staying nimble in the trees. Just a great all around ski

Whitewalker owner here. Love them. They slice and dice but have enough strength to stomp. Just mounted up some 192 Declivity X skis, which is a pretty sick ski for charging yet still quick like the WW… interesting
