We need to write emais to Kevin about putting in a park next year. If there is anyone from White Pass you know what Kevin gave us for our TP this year. I emailed him twice this year with really indepth emails and they both seemed to work. The first one: I emailed him sometime during the week and that weekend he said he was going to have rails built. My second email i wrote sometimediring the week and two eekends later he put the quater pipes on Grouse. It seems to work if we just keep asking. But be nice, he is really anal and loves his racers. Just bull shit and say how everyone wants one and how it will affexct business but write emails.

 
ya, i ski white pass, and he has done some stuff for us with the quarters and the gap, but we gotta keep pushing him. maybe if we just killed a few racers...

 
on the news tonight it said they were getting steal rails, and a halfpipe. im g uessing a park too.

Half-pipe would be nothin new, and the rails should be there. as far as a park though, some strings still need to be pulled.

We need to start our own ski area near Stevens and buy out the park builders at Stevens to come and build jumps for us.

Here's the skinny. White Pass is going to do some dirt work this summer for a halfpipe. It's going to be just up and to the lookers left of the bottom of the triple chair. Kevin is also planning on installing a few rails too. No jumps yet, but it's a start.

the expo center) along with his grandson, Tyler Forman and Theory-3's short

Update on White Pass. I talked to Tim, the guy making all the rails for White. He said that they ordered 12 pieces and he's sending them 14...including 2 c-boxes that combine to make and S-BOX! I checked out the dirt work for the pipe and it looks good...as long as they do the maintenence.

As far as them building a park for people like Wes...let me tell you how things work up there. My dad is the Mt. Manager...that means Kevin is the only person with more authority than him. Prior to my dad, my grandfather was the Mt. Manager...he's father to Phil and Steve Mahre. Steve is Andy's dad. Andy and I have skied there since we were born pretty much. Our connections and resumes helped us sooooooo much that we finally left; along with tons of our snowboarding friends. Making changes at White Pass is a very slow process and you have to be patient, persistent, and professional if you want to see anything happen. And it helps to talk to the right people.

And I really don't think you guys should be doing too much bashing on racers. Jeff Harrison is also from White Pass, is on the US Ski Team, and can go up against and prolly take anyone in this forum in a freeride comp, from Park to Big Mt. Letting any of that kind of attitude show will get you zero respect and severly hurt the weight of anything to say to White Pass.

Now...as far as the future. I talk to people at White Pass on a regular basis. This includes Kevin, my dad, the marketing manager, the ski patrollers, cat drivers, and tons of other people. It is still my home and I still have connections. T3 plans on doing some shooting there this winter and I may even move back there in the next 5 years if they step up the park...big if. However, I will remain closely tied to White and forever see it as my home. I am willing to do whatever I can to help the cause because my snowboarder friends and I are the ones that started the cause up there. Let me know if theres ANYTHING you want help on, advice on with dealing with White Pass, or just some info on what's really going on.

tyler, please for give the opinions of skierdudeguy, he hasnt been around white very long... Although you might not know me, i worked up there for three years. White has come a long way. look forward to seeing you up there this winter.

I'm sure we've met. I'm just really bad with names. You guys need to keep bugging Kevin about the importance of having a small park crew. The last time I talked to my dad there were no plans for a ground crew.
