So I decided to hit up White Pass yesterday vs. Alpy or anything down on Hood.

What a wise decision. No one was there and I never knew WP had any of the terrain I found. There were about five people really charging and everything was there for the taking - especially the trees o nthe backside.

Anyone really know their way around? I got a little cliffed (actually a lot) out on the front side, but found great stashes leading up to it. Anyone know how to drop in there and still come out on a trail? Anyone down to meet up on another pow day?
 
White Pass is definitely where it's at...super chill and epic pow days. Hopefully it will stay that way after the expansion. I'd show you some chill lines for tree-skiing but I'm out for the season. If you're lucky freeskier44 might help ya out. And if you're super nice Tyler @ the park might give you a few ideas. Both of them could describe anything better than I can.

I know! All of this late pow we've been getting has been awesome. Had 18" the day before my birthday...best tree skiing sess of my life!
 
Oh hey - this thread didn't come up on my threads till now.

I was there last Wednesday and it was great! I ended up w/ some old-time tele locals for a bit before getting lured into the trees above that cliffband on the front side. Bit of a hike out, but it was oh so nice. Otherwise, a weekday @ WP is such a pleasant break. Yeah other places have gnarlier stuff, but no one is getting what WP has - and I prefer fewer people.

I'd love to meet up w/ anyone to show me around. And yeah, I saw where that expansion is going and the terrain looks sooooo good. Yay for WP.
