starting our own thread here...

1.) who has already been up?

2.) opening day hopefully next saturday. its lookin good.

3.) speculation on the park. when will it be up this year? will it be bigger/better? ideas for tyler (or whoever).

4.) the expansion. any questions/ideas...

i know it sounds kind of like a school assignment but im just trying to start some discussion.

also for all the others from other mountains NO HATE please...
 
the donut will be like the new rockslide but we'll get to find all the new spots. have you ever been back there?
 
The expansion is ruining rockslide, I'm kinda bummed...but at least now we can access hogsback super easy!

well today was pretty ill... decent snow. i only got 3 runs before fucking my back up but still fun...
 
How is the terrain park right now? Could I get specs? It would help us make a decision of where to go this weekend.

White Pass is obviously no Stevens or Baker but Tyler the park manager tries to do what he can with what he has. The park is in a shitty place right now but with the expansion they are looking to move it to this spot that has some awesome natural terrain features to build off of. Give it a break. For any of you that actually care and know Tyler you know that he works his ass off and could pawn any of you. He wants to expand the park but there are limited resources to do so.
 
well said! i hadnt heard about moving the park to the expansion. my idea is to maybe split it. half in the usual spot half in the expansion. like a jump line back there and a big jib park with only 1-2 jumps in the usual spot.

i dont recognize you. i dont think ive seen you up there at all. i now youre not the girl that rides with brennan...
 
Sad I know...and we never got to ski together last year :-( I might be back in February for a visit though, so who knows. Have you been up yet?

^^ that was last weekend. i might be up tomorrow. back still hurts a bit and the docs said not to go. its gonna be really good up there though

If you're lucky Tyler might 'accidentally" build a 65 ft jump again. Also...go get that C box out boys! I know it's still there somewhere....
 
park setup for this weekend was tall flat box, short flat box, c box and mini rail. maybe more next weekend...

this weeks forecast turns colder after wednesday but not much precip it looks like. hopefully enough to cover the ice and open the steeps
