I never drop it, nor am I racist. But I feel as though I wouldn't be offended by it if I were black. I mean, if someone called me some racial Caucasian term I wouldn't get bothered. I didn't watch the video though cause I'm in class, so I don't know the context, which has a lot to do with it. Either way, it's quite rude to say that regardless.
 
the only racial term for caucasians as a whole is cracker, which simply serves as a reminder that we used to own people. Yeah not offended by that one either.

I drop slurs all the time, not because I hate a race of people - I literally hate everyone just the same. It's gratifying to use a word like that because there is a ton of emphasis behind it. same with the s word for mexican people. When it comes around to insulting white people there really isnt a term that has any weight to it and it sucks when you get pissed off and cant scream any word that has a purpose at some piece of shit white person

This. The NFL's virgin ears just had to make a big deal about it. Not saying what he said was right but it's not like every single other white person in the NFL has never said it. He's just unlucky that there was a camera around.
 
My biggest issue with this is the title of the thread itself "White NFL player drops big N bomb". Because if it was a black NFL player nobody would give a shit and just laugh about it. So really saying it's okay for black people to use it but nobody else is racist in itself.
 
i call my white friends niggers, i call my black friends niggers. i also call them motherfuckers and jackasses and pussies. we use those word to describe other people we dont know, too. if i was a professional athlete, i would still do it. im not ignorant, nor racist, nor sexist, but in certain contexts saying shit like that can be really funny. its perfectly appropriate in personal contexts when the people who are hearing it know that i have no reason to be hateful towards the people i am talking about. if youre in a public setting where people who dont know you (i.e. on TV, on the bus, in class) then you have to respect that other people around might be offended by things like that and not say it. this guy looks like he was hanging around with his friends, getting drunk and talking shit when someone put a camera in his face and posted it on the internet. if he had said "Ill take on every motherfucker here" no one would give a shit, even though its just as profane.

I mean, it was unacceptable but some asshat upload a video of him while he was blackout with his friends, he wasn't at a charity event, he wasnt on national tv. Oh well, it'll blow over in 2 days.
 
I hate the eagles and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. However, in an interview, he was asked if he had too much to drink, and he did the responsible thing and said that whether alcohol was involved or not, he said something awful and that's on him, not the booze. (Many college girls claiming date rape could learn something)
