Whistler

I am going to Whistler next week for a week and I want to make the most of the few days I have to ski there. Anyone who skis there regularly give me your recommendations for the best trails there so I will know where to spend my time. I mainly ski trees and bumps and am a pretty advanced skier +k for helpful advice

I live in Whistler year long and would definitely recommend Blackcomb over Whistler mountain. Mainly because I know my way around blackcomb way more but I like the type of terrain way more.

I recommend riding glacier chair and hitting up Blackcomb bowl and Spankys Ladder if snow permits. Also 7th Heaven chair has wicked runs. When you come off the chair turn right and head skiers left, travers as far as you can. It will bring you too booter vill, always get good turns in there. Also, skiers right of 7th heaven chair, behind the water reservoir has some sweet trees!

Have fun buddy!

im also going to whistler and i hit the park a lot basically i lap the park as much as possible although ik its whistler and i want to explore everything but I hit the park the majority of the time and im mainly a beginner/intermediate park lapper because this is my first year skiing ever so which runs should i take?

bring your life jacket

If you ride park at all I would definitely try to hit that up. They have some amazing features there!

Even if you don't ride park you should check it out. Probably the best jump section anywhere in BC

lap symphony on whistler if there's new snow, hike flute bowl at least once

on blackcomb, 7th heaven is fucking great all the time, and if there's new snow I'd recommend taking the showcase t-bar and hiking from there, very well established bootpack

in my opinion, don't get suckered into riding park the whole time you're there, as awesome as they are you can ride park pretty much anywhere. take advantage of the big mountain experience and ride big mountain
