Hello fello shredders! I organized a trip to Whistler for my schools' ski club. Really stoked to go! Just curious if any of you have been there and have some tips and info that would be helpful (pow stashes, what bars to go to, etc). Feel free to just talk about your trip there, i'm definitely interested! January 2015 Whistler lets go!!
 
If does happen to go off the days you are there, definitely wake up early and do the breakfast on the mountain thing. I think you have to be one of the first 500 people in the lift line at 630am, pay $15 extra, and they give you buffet breakfast plus you get the first turns of the day because you're already on the hill. After a few pow laps lower on the mountain, get in line for Peak Chair to open and get ready to huck your self off (and watch other people huck off) the waterfall or air jordan. Have fun man!
 
Love Whistler!! Get out early before the crowds come if you're going on holidays. The Crystal Zone usually has untraked pow and is one of my favorite cruiser runs
 
I'm going late January so i don't think it will be too crowded but you never know. Sounds good, thanks for the tips. More are welcome.
 
Ahhh dude, Whistler is the shit. I've been there twice now and can say it is by FAR the greatest place to ski in the world! And considering I've been there twice, skiing 3-4 days each time I was there, I still have not gotten to ski everything Whistler has to offer haha! My favorite zones to ski were the 7th Heaven area on Blackcomb, Harmony Ridge area on Whistler was fucking unreal, and of course you gotta do the Peek to Creak trail on Whistler and Hortsman glacier on Blackcomb. If you are interested in skiing the parks, I personally preferred the Habitat Terrain Park on Whistler over Blackcombs park, it just flowed better IMO and had more feature that a kid from Ohio like me could handle haha!

I'm going in January so i will let YOU know how it is haha. Definitely planning on waking up early everyday. I'm not messing around with hangovers, this is gonna be the shredding trip of a lifetime! Anyone else going in January?
