Whistler Park HUGE...

They park is still under construction but they are pushing up the MASSIVE kickers next to the lift with the cat. One of the kickers is so big it dwarfs the CAT that is building it. If you check your speed of hesitate one bit on these jumps your gonna go home in a body bag! They also have a HIKE A RAIL section where you can just chill and hit the rails all day without a big flow of people. And we just had a FIS world Cup snowboarding so the Halfpipe is like 15 feet deep. Man this place is straight up sick!

Thats sick! I thought I was gonna miss the big shit but it sounds like theyre makin good progress. I called whistler today tho and the chick said theyre going to tear down the FIS big air jump, although they will prolly use the snow to make 2 smaller hits hopefully. I dont think I would even hit that big ass 60footer tho, I felt comfortable on this one 40 footer and I think I hit a 50 but 60...Daaaaamn. Id have to watch a lot of good ppl and see how they hit it before I huck myself like that and make sure its damn safe. I really wanna step up my game this year, I can do shit on small (15ft tables) but Im so scared to spin on big tables. You gotta face your fears some time tho, cant wait to stomp a huge slow 3 over a big table. It sucks I got all this techy stuff I wanna try but I know I have to polish off my spins on big tables first. As soon as Im back into regular skiing I think Im gonna split my time between big table tricks and small table teck stuff (too bad I cant split my time bwtween that and big mountain but hey I cant make enough money to spend much more than a week out west:( Illinois SUCKS! I WANT POW!

 
damn you are so lucky, so far we have a 200 foot run with 2 1 foot tall jumps! fucking sucks

Yeah that stuff thet're building in whistler is the new park. To get in you have to pay like $5 more and sign a waiver so that if you get hurt its your own problem. I heard that they are making the stuff as big as some of the jumps that the pros do in parkasaurus and other mag spreads. Should be pretty kick ass. Probably see a lot of pros there too kicking it up. I fthey don't get you motivated nothing will...

 
Thats a good assesment (sp). Its like a year long Parkasaurus. Parkasaurus, Super Park, WHISTER YEAR ROUND!

I was in the pipe today, it was good but pretty icy - like tremblant superpipe icy.

Turpin and the boys were out, I got some pretty good video considering it was the first day the pipe was open.

I just want them to build a friggin' table or two.

Sorry Brandee. K so the dbl black park is opening in 2 days, but a patroller said that it is only the 3 major hits which as I said earlier are massive, but they might through in some big ass rails. The flow is alright but there is no choice in hits, you either do them or don't. There is one line only. Obviously the other parks have a lot of stuff to them. Snowing 15cm today and predicted 15 for the morning also. Its dumping AGAIN now and all is good. My roommate just broke his shoulder bone and is off to Van to get checked so watch out. Those big hits will fuck you up! Off to get fucked up! bye

fuck that sounds sick we just made a 27 foot hip at our park and i was stoked. hmm we gotta get up with the rest of the world but i doubt we will ever see a 60 ft table

i cant wait to hit the whis park....too bad it cost so much $$$ for lift tickets tho...
