It's here! What are your speculations for opening weekend? I see that they say a few rails will be set-up at the top of emerald. Will it be any good? ALSO, will it be very busy on opening weekend because there is only a few chairs open, or will it be not too bad because there won't be many tourists skiing, and instead mostly passholders.

Summary: Will park be alright? Will it be busy?
 
Probably a few rails set up at the top of Emerald like they always do. Weather looks much better than last year's opening day, that was a very wet day
 
they had a flat tube, a down tube, a flat box, a dfd box, and that triangle thing that you can stall on and whatnot for anyone wondering. skiing off emerald was dust on crust/dust on rocks, but thats to be expected. i never hiked, peak or pikas traverse, plenty of people did though. might head up there if I'm bored tomorrow.
 
The alpines pretty decent if you want to hike, but for just off the lifts I'd bring park skis
 
I was up there today nice to finally get snow. Freezing level was below mid station so it's was fine
