How are the conditions in the blackcomb park at the moment? I'm thinking of heading up next week. Is the black park open without having to have a pass? Do you have to wear a helmet in it? Thanks guys.

Black Park is open, not sure of very current conditions but it's good times. Higher level this year doesn't require a pass, only a helmet.

so no park pass anymore at all? i'm heading up skiing friday-monday, and it'd be stellar if i didn't have to drop more money on top of lift tickets.

Is there somewhere I can find out which features are open? I am considering making a trip to Whis next week, but I am not sure if it is worth the money (I am a poor student). I checked the Whistler website, but I couldn't find recent updates on features. Thanks!

Everything is open except black park because Mark McMorris is shooting in it till the 5th. They swapped some features around and put in a cool flat to down kink tube. Pipe blows.
